He wasn't supposed to be out at all this year. Instead of having him kidnap Melody/give coal out this year, we wanted to do something nice because 2016 has been dumb. I was unfortunately not able to be on right at midnight to fix it, but I was about to get on about an hour later to try to get the servers to sync up to get the correct changes (it worked on my dev earlier in the day when I tested).
