I am in the same situation with my cat Tana right now who is on chemotherapy since end of September and vet bills are piling up. We thought he would be on a 25 weeks schedule until March yet we got to know last week that the treatment goes on every 3th week for around a year, in our case minimum until mid of August. Bummer. We only hope the little one makes it through and has many many wonderful years to come, he is so lovely and brave. Tana is in remission already yet the three week schedule is hard, he has always six bad days after chemo yet the other 15 ones are good ones where he is already back to his former self. He is only 6, so young. If we hadn´t decided for the therapy, he would have been dead by now, it was a very aggressive kind of lymphoma. He went from being a normal healthy cat to barely able to walk or stand in two days. (Oh my, sorry for babbling.... blushes)

Ah, before I forget, on another note: My trust in the function of the Lumi trees is a little bit weak, lol. So I´ll send out my Lumi gifts on Christmas Eve via Arctic gift center like it is custom rite in Germany. Or on the first day of Christmas should Tana be very weak Christmas Eve. His last chemo for this year is 23th of December of all things so we don´t even know if we are able to visit family for long during the Christmas days. So please don´t you wonder shouldn´t you find my gift under your Lumi tree! :-) It comes extra special via reindeer sled! XD

I totally know the feeling of money being tight this year xD either works for me I got enough accessories to fill it. Though if money is tight don't worry about me hunny ♡ I'm not sure who I'll be able to gift myself honestly. -hugs-

AW your sweet sweet kitty, oh my goodness. ;;! i am sending him all my love and good lucky for a quick recovery-- it's so, so hard when pets are sick, especially when they're so young. my two boys are 7 & 15, and while they don't worry me too much, my oldest was very sick for a while and we had no idea with what. finally it wound up being his pancreas, which was still sad but it could be treated at leastl now he's on his kitty medicine and doing absolutely loads better. my younger one...sadly we got them both as outdoor cats, and while it isn't very often, sometimes he'll find another tom cat in the neighbourhood and fight. it wrenches at my heart because while i can take care of him and he'll be fine, i always worry so much for the other cat. ;; luckily it's only happened a 3 or 4 times that he's come home looking like he's been in a scuffle.

AW worry not!! i've planned out and can definitely gift all the folks i've pinged (i don't remember when it was, but when CSC was on sale for double the amount i stocked up for lumi and black friday and sat on it for a longlong time), just unfortunately not twice-over liked i had wanted to! As for kitty fights, I am very glad we´re having a Defcon 3 fenced garden, lol, which the cats can´t leave. (Hehe, we THINK they can´t yet when there would be a fire after them, I am pretty sure they would find a way yet for the time being, they accept the borders and defend their territory..... :-) If some sly outside cat finds their way into the garden, I always make a buck of water ready, you never know. Yet mostly it´s like this: Chief cat sees intruder, ducks in the grass for cover, stares at second in command, sending telepathic order to take action. Second in command sends "What? Me?" back,rolls eyes, then slowly stands up, sneakily pussyfooting into the direction of the sassy gatecrasher, then gathering speed, running up to the invader yet stop abruptly some three meters before the very one, making a lot of noise. Intruder licks his paws, swishing its tail, slowly turns and hopping elegantly over Defcon 3 fence, debonair, my own four cats speechless with admiration, lol. They are softies to the bone. They even bring mice in so they can cuddle them in their cat beds, not understanding that the mice have nothing but flight in their minds, lol.

luckily just inflammation, so his diet can stay relatively the same; we just feed him some kidney support food now as well, as well as an herbal suppliment mixed into his food since he's getting on in years ❤️ omg, that's so cute to imagine! mine both are big jumpers and explorers and climbers- they're very shy of strangers, but fantastic, terrible little hunters. my oldest waited i think almost an entire day once, camped out in our back yard, waiting for one poor little mouse to come out of a woodpile. the poor thing. ;-; but our neighbourhood is thankful at least, to be mouse-free!

Ah, that´s good to hear! I had 3 insulin-dependend diabetes cats already and now Tana is the 4th, he developed a passager diabetes under cortison.
