I'm going to look in getting this done this month so people will have the option to turn this on/off.

I unfortunately saw this suggestion too late into the season this year. This is really something that should go live at the start of the holiday with trees. I've added it to notes for the holiday next year to get it tested/added before the holiday starts next year though!
