My best laptops came from Toshiba (I believe) and Acer. I currently have a Lenovo but somehow I can't warm up with it. :x

Are you running Skyrim at it's max settings with any sort of HD mods (i.e., heavy retextures for armors, hair/body/face, terrain/environment mods)? That'll impact your choice. My ex had tons of "visual" mods for Skyrim and had a custom built PC... A laptop may not be able to handle it all at once, at max settings. As pretty as Skyrim SE is, it still needs some minor fixes for the body/face sometimes (dammit Bethesda). XD Plus there's an overall issue in the game that prevents a quest from being completed due to a terrain issue that wasn't present in the original release. :x
