Holly, my 10-year-old brown tabby girl, she's a very well-behaved kittycat. Emma, my 5-year-old Russian Blue girl, she's a naughty but adorable kittycat so she gets away with murder, lol. Paca, my baby female betta. She's blue/turquoise with some pewter on her head and ruby on her fins. Zombie, my few-year-old Red Cap Oranda goldfish.

When I was in DC I had a pretty good menagerie, but it's shrunk considerably since. The two foster kitties and the crab I had all got adopted out! Super miss one of the foster kitties, even though he was craaaazay. The two fishes I had both almost instantly died when they did some sort of water treatment in our building without telling anyone who lived there. :c That just leaves me with my two adorable box turtles, who I've had around 15 years at this point. I made surf and turf for dinner tonight, so one of them is hanging out by my feet stuffing her face with steak.

Well you should be jealous of the cute one. Maybe not so much the other one. Neither of them bite, but my male is weird and territorial. He deliberately tries to pee on people he doesn't like. Like he actually SCHEMES to pee on them. He'll run over and beg to be picked up, so he can pee on them when they do it, and if they don't pick him up, he acts all cute and climbs onto their feet and then pees on their feet. If he can't get away with that either he just follows them around the house in this weird stomping angry bulldog pose, often trailing pee behind him. He also doesn't like the new apartment, because he has to share it with cats, so instead of even hanging out with me for a couple minutes, he'll only come out of his room to eat and then stomp right back to it unless you lock him out. He refuses cuddles and pets. Miss F on the other hand is adorable and will actually get upset if she doesn't get enough attention. She's well behaved enough that I can take her with me to classes and get the grocery shopping done and she's usually fine with it. If I put her on the couch and get up she'll come looking for me so she can get attention. They're very different. Dx

I have four rescue dogs. There's Cricket, a miniature pinscher/terrier mix adopted from the local shelter after his original "owners" didn't want him anymore. He's super smart and the little "alpha" of my pack. Foxy, a longhair chihuahua, rescued as a craigslist throw-away after he'd been used in a backyard breeding situation. He's my little shadow and therapy dog. Then there's Nemo, a beagle also adopted from a local shelter where he had ended up three times before with a bad skin infection. Wahya, a Siberian husky/rough collie mix also rescued from a bad situation. She's my long distance hiking companion and overgrown derp. I also have an "extended animal family" of sorts because I share a home with my mom and she has three little dogs. Two chihuahuas named Chico and Roo and a 19 year old chihuahua/dachshund mix named Haylee who is the sweetest little dog in the world.

that sounds VERY familiar! A couple years ago I got over 30 cats trap-neuter-returned through a local lowcost program. The tamer strays I either rehomed or adopted and among them was a mother cat and her tiny kittens. They were only about 10 days old when we found them (had to follow mama cat until she led us to them, she wasn't happy at first but thankfully she wasn't feral) All of the kittens found wonderful forever homes except for one, Binx the little black kitten, because his adopter backed out. I still have Binx along with his mom Mittens.

We have a miniature horse that we got on Mother's Day, a spur of a moment purchase. It was more for the kiddo, but the fact that I gave puppy eyes and asked for him had a it to do with it as well. He's seven years old, he was a stud horse most of his life but his old owner had a heart attack and couldn't take care of him anymore.

We have about 20 chickens currently. We started with three hens, and two roosters. Then got another rooster and five hens. Well, roosters plus hens equal eggs and they turned into chicks :) Only one is named, he is a silky named Frizzle.

We have a 15 yea old English setter mix that was my boyfriends before I came along, his name is Rascal.

We have a Dalmatian/Pit Bull Mix that I got for a Christmas present about three years ago. Her name is Lady Bug and she's a treat. She "talks" to us quite a bit and has a big personality.

Oh and we have fish too!

2 ferrets: Mako and Teddy (bonita says his real name is something like Teddy Bear, but we call him Teddy)

The OTHER two pairs of litter siblings I've owned in the past have had similar personalities (to their sibling).

These two, however, are COMPLETE opposites.

They recently got to experience snow for the first time ever. Teddy LOVES it, while his sister Mako does not like it at all. I brought it in the house in a plastic tub, and Teddy was having a blast trying to create a tunnel in it.

I think Mako doesn't like it because she has a thinner winter coat than him. And she's about half his size (in terms of weight).

I have a very loving little Bichpoo. I wish I could upload a picture of him (not sure if that's allowed), I swear my heart melts every time I see him. He just turned 2 years old the past month. He's crazy hyper but such an amazing dog, it's impossible to bring a bad mood into the house. The second he runs up to you in excitement every sad feeling melts away. I. Love. Dogs. We don't deserve them! lol!
