oh i am! I'm 105 cutiefly in to this chain and no shiny yet. Not having as good of luck as I did a while ago.

nah I'm just shiny hunting them for the fun of it. I spent all day yesterday hunting a wishiwashi on a whim and figured I'd have some fun hunting cutiefly.

can you clarify "shiny" hunting xD

so throughout the pokemon games there are things called shiny pokemon, these are rare pokemon that have an altered coloration than the original. In Sun and moon (I forget what the chances are in the other games) you have a 1 in 4000 chance to encounter one in the wild. After completing your dex you can get something called a shiny charm which increases your chance from 4000 to about 1023. In addition there are battles called SOS battles where you encounter a pokemon and injured it. after it'll start to call for help causing more of that (or another species) so you can keep defeating these seconds in the battle and while doing so have a better chance for a shiny pokemon to appear. Which is what I'm doing.
