Well I found my avatar, thank you. It is not showing on site and I did enable it in my preferences. Any clues?

It wouldn't load for me either. What I had to do was change 'per page' from '100' to '500', and then they all showed up. Not sure why, but it works every time for me when things don't load.

The toggle for cleavage still doesn't show up. I checked the html, and there's an empty span element where the toggle should be, even after a hard refresh. I also loaded the wardrobe in Chrome (I normally use Firefox, and this is the first time I've logged into Subeta in Chrome for quite a while), and the toggle is missing there, too.

Edit: I just realized the cleavage option isn't there because I'm using the male base. If I switch to female, I see the yes/no that someone posted earlier. It's silly though, because if I switch to female, toggle cleavage on, and then switch back to male, I get to keep the cleavage on the male base even though the cleavage toggle disappears.

What if you just have the artists draw a male version of the cleavage that fits with the male base (to better define the pecs) and then leave the toggle up there at all times? Less confusing that way.

Anyway...

The salon seems to be working ok in Chrome (except I still can't close the color picker after opening it, but that's another issue). I still can't change colors in Firefox without a TypeError, and there are a bunch of other errors alongside that issue.

I'll start by saying that the hair on my avatar does not match the colors that show up in the salon since I've converted my avatar. I don't know why that is or if it's the same for everyone else, but I wonder if it's important?

When I first load the salon it usually shows just the three base colors and the first streak with no hair preview (screnshot here), and then anywhere from 3-20 seconds later it loads the rest of the streaks and the preview (screenshot).

On rare occasions, it doesn't load any of the streaks or anything (screenshot) and waiting doesn't help. If I click "show on avatar" here, it throws this error:

Quote
TypeError: e is undefined

The fix for this is to switch to another tab and then come back, and hope it loads ok the next time.

Once it's all fully loaded, if I click "show on avatar", "remove hair", or try to change the hair style first thing after the salon finishes loading, they work without errors. If I try to change my hair color first (which throws a TypeError no matter what), then any of those other actions will still work afterwards, but they'll also throw a TypeError at the same time.

Quote
TypeError: ERROR.captureStackTrace is not a function

At least that's how it works most of the time, but there were a few times (2-3) where "show on avatar" threw this error instead, and I don't know what changed:

For comparison, here are the urls for the hair currently on my avatar, and the hair as it shows up in the salon:

Quote

Current hair:</p>
<p><a href="https://sapi.subeta.net/hair/258.png?color=302b26&amp;highlights=">https://sapi.subeta.net/hair/258.png?color=302b26&amp;highlights=</a>{%221%22:{%22color%22:%224d4545%22},%222%22:{%22color%22:%224f4747%22},%223%22:{%22color%22:%22504848%22},%224%22:{%22color%22:%22504a44%22},%225%22:{%22color%22:%22504949%22},%226%22:{%22color%22:%22e68c1c%22},%22100%22:{%22color%22:%22000000%22},%22101%22:{%22color%22:%22FFFFFF%22}}</p>
<p>Salon hair:</p>
<p><a href="https://sapi.subeta.net/hair/258.png?color=972f00&amp;highlights=">https://sapi.subeta.net/hair/258.png?color=972f00&amp;highlights=</a>{%22100%22:{%22color%22:%22000000%22},%22101%22:{%22color%22:%22FFFFFF%22}}

I also get the following errors sometimes when reloading the wardrobe while I'm in the salon, or while switching between tabs:

Quote
TypeError: n.hair is undefined

Quote
TypeError: this.state.hair is undefined

I don't know exactly what triggers these two errors, but they're fairly common.

I just tried out the new wardrobe, and change my outfit and saved it to the site, and it worked wonderfully. I did not have any problems, and I am so excited about the layering changes :)

You have to have a female avatar for the cleavage option to show up :) I need to make it so the whole section disappears when you're male, not just the toggle.

As for the hair, this will take a little bit more digging into. I pushed a fix for the 500 internal error problem. Going to dig in more, I assume you're using the newest version of Firefox?

And yes, you can't close the color picker and that's currently by design, mostly for ease of having it usable throughout the whole page instead of redrawing it over and over when you switch boxes.

SO, just like I posted the last two days in the old topic, no items load for me in FF. Even if I go to my outfits page and put one of them on, NOTHING LOADS.

I really expected it to be further along before it was released for mass testing.

We've had 53 pages of testing here, as well as many pages of testing in other places and it works for the majority of users. These kinds of problems are why we test, and if you're the only person having this problem (which you are one of a very small handful) it helps to see why and how you're having the problem.

Especially when, as you can see, I can use your wardrobe without problem in the newest version of firefox.

So, if you could go to the tools > web developer > web console and let me know of any errors there, that'd be appreciated to help you resolve this problem :)

So in the preferences area, everything has "enable" on the left and "disable" on the right except for this new option and possible confusion and good organization aside it'll bug whoever has OCD (like me). It's a pretty minor barely related thing but still

- Yeah, Firefox is up to date. v50.1.0.

And I don't know if you saw my edit about the cleavage, but I figured the male/female thing out eventually:

I saw that someone pointed out that search parameters don't reset if you reload the wardrobe, and I'm getting the same thing. It's weird to come back to the wardrobe an hour later and have your last search come back up when you'd expect it to be completely reset.

[edit]

's avatar in the post right above mine isn't loading. Is it broken for anyone else? I've been seeing randomly broken avatars like this since the forum update, I think. Usually they load ok after I refresh so it's hard to report the error, but this one isn't loading at all.

I've been manually fixing some of the avatars on the thread, and figuring out why they're broken and fixing them. A lot of times it's been that someone has checked the "show new wardrobe" box in preferences but didn't convert their avatar, which will be fixed in the "live" version of the wardrobe automatically converting your avatar.

Pushing a fix now for it loading the last search you did when you come back to the wardrobe, that isn't the intended action :)
