2 dags, a cat and a chicken haha. My Sunshine (kitty) is 18 and is having issues with maintaining a healthy weight. She eats like a horse but stays underweight. ;; I'm trying to make her as comfortable as possible. And then I have a cocker spaniel named Mr. Bear who is 3, and a yorkie I rescued named Sargent :D I love them so much. Oh, and my chicken was also a rescue. ^-^ She's sitting next to me on the couch eating my strawberries at the moment.

What about you? I could talk pets all day haha.

It's been hitting us as rain until now. But it was also like, 70 just two days ago! It was 72 on Christmas! Tennessee weather is really really strange. In recent years it doesn't really frost or get legitimately COLD until mid-late January. That global warming, tho. o.o

I woke up, looked outside and saw it was white everywhere. It looks so nice outside 😍 But I have no shoes I can wear for now, maybe my high heels will keep my feet dry 😅 if I can walk without slipping on them, LOL. I want to walk with a friend today, she wants to collect a couple of pokemon and I kind of promised to walk with her 😁 I never expected this much snow, though! :P

Sounds like a busy house there :D I know that issue of cats not gaining weight, a friend of my has a cat like that. She is hungry all day, eats a lot of dry food, but easy 3-4 (big) cans wet food aside. That small lady knows how to surprise all off us 😅 Her cat is also around that age! What happened to Sargent and your chicken??? Very nice of you to let these pets into your home _____

We had a cat who walked into our home. She was underweight, but within a half year overweight 😳 then she suddenly stopped eating. We went to the vet a couple of times, who said he cannot find anything but she should lose weight. Then her abdomen started swelling, so we went back again and now he was afraid it might be something serious. So we made an appointment with a first line vet. They examined her and told us she had a tumor and he was able to do chemotherapy once she is stronger, but even forcing her to eat did not make her stronger so we had to euthanize her after 8 months of having her ;_____;

Now we have another cat, this one has behavioural issues, she bites and grabs your hand suddenly while you pet her. She leaves no signals, her tail stays high, her eyes half closed, her ears just up, but then she turns and tries biting you 😩 And she never comes to sit on your lap or next to you. She is 1 year and 9 months old, we have her one year now and has that issue since the start. I love her but unfortunately I cannot have her close to me :(

We have a cat outside as well who we take care of (a street cat), but he cannot be friends with the cat in our house so he has a dog house to hide. And we also have a kitten, not at my parent's home, she is just 4 months old 😍 and never wants to be alone or sleep alone :3 and 4 rabbits outside :D

How are you traveling now? There are not many people in my family who drive a car, my dad drives us most of the times. But it is not fair to let him do that all the time. Plus driving a car would save me more than six hours a week if I go to work.

I've met cats like that, I call them the Jeckyl and Hyde types haha. They'll turn on you, seriously without any warning. I think somewhere along the line their wiring went a little screwy. :P

Well, Chuck (the chicken) was originally a friend of the family's chicken but they basically just didn't care for her at all, only gave her dog food, her nails grew out so long she could barely walk...just horrible. So we took her in and built her a hutch and cut her nails - which took ages, literally days and days to get it all cut down and filed without freaking her out. They also thought she was a boy so that's why her name is what it is and it just kind of stuck. She's so sweet though and so happy now. She acts like just one of the dogs tbh haha. She's so quirky.

And then Sargent I found in my neighborhood while I was out on a walk. He was totally flea infested, matted fur, so skinny and very fearful. I picked him up and fed him a pound of lunch meat and cut the mats out and gave him a bath and he's been stuck to me at the hip ever since. Come to find out he belonged to a neighbor just down the road, and they just kept him outside and left him to fend for himself once the novelty of having a puppy wore off I guess. It took them a month to even figure out I had their dog, and they didn't care enough to come over and say anything until one of the neighbors kids tattled on us and kept bugging them about it. They didn't put up much of a fight though because I shamed them for the condition he was in and how he was happier with me. They left after that and haven't come back since.

LOL, Jeckyl and Hyde XD I just googled the pictures, I understand what you mean with that :P Her name is Moortje by the way ^-^ Where Moor is referred to her black colour and tje to little. Well she was neglected while being a kitten. She was abandoned by her mum, then fed by the hand by the farmer (nothing more then feeding), then she was brought by a new owner, who only saw her like a couple of hours a week tops 😢 Now she gets like 24/7 attention if she wants 😊 She has changed a lot though. At first she was only hiding and now she is curious to anyone entering our house and wants to be pet for a short while by everyone (until she bites) 💔 My sister-in-law is somehow the only one she trust, our cat likes to sit behind her (the small space between her back and the coach) ❤

That is very horrible 😱 I cannot understand that people can do that to pets :( maybe only unless they are very sick themselves, but I still think that is very unfair. I have worked with chickens, you can fixate them pretty easy. They also get calm when you grab them at the roots (?) of the wings, they even close their eyes if they hang in that position for a while 😍 Laying them on their backs make them look dead :D

Poor Sargent 😢 he must feel special living with you now 😊 Sounds like you are a great new owner ❤ And they should be ashamed of themselves indeed, I think I would not even admit that it is my dog if I went that far, LOL!!! I would not dare facing you either just because of shame, haha. Or if I have one good excuse I would come to explain and apologize!!! Giving you flowers and dog stuff. But not claiming it back either unless he would be a burden to you and I would promise to do better!!! Can all your pets get along?

oohhh mint is a cute color!! Cleaning out the wardrobe takes sooo long but I think it's worth it. I ended up keeping all that I took out, in a gallery. For various reasons, sometimes old items get revamped and they look good, sometimes a new achievement comes out to use them, and I still have the lingering fear that a new tier will be added. xD

Ooh I live in NC so that weather is all too familiar to me ;) It was sleeting loudly here all night and it kept waking me up, but now I just got up and it's all snowy outside!!!! Yes!!!!

My dad is also the one who drives. I'm basically a hermit and I never really go anywhere. Besides there's only 1 car and if I did drive and go somewhere I'm afraid I'd be inconveniencing him. PS. Looks like we both woke up to snow!! :D

LOL, well, as long as you can go everywhere you like, then I see no problem :P Maybe it is a little unnecessary for me too to get a driver license, at least at the moment. If I want to do a PhD or something, then it is even obligated 😁 We also have just one car 😮 But right now I live with my brother and sister-in-law (who do not have a car) and they want to start driving again once I get my driver license. Then we can share a car and the costs 😅

You can always start driving again, right? 😮 Can you guys take lessons from family or friends? Or just like us only from certificated driving-schools? 😁 One lesson (1.5 hour) is like 70 euros 😲 So I just take one lesson a week and hope to be able to get my license within a year 😅

Where I live too, I think last time it snowed was January 2016. I love the view, unfortunately a lot of people were in an accident today 😢 they are clearly not used to this weather either.
