Hey ! It's been a while! I've had a pretty busy few weeks between work and going home for Easter and trying to maintain somewhat of a social life ;) How are you guys?!

I think the casting looks pretty A+. I'm happy about the diversity, and I think the changes they did make to characters makes it seem more appropriate for our current time period. They changed Technical Boy to like a vaping hipster, which fits better to current trends, I think. But I understand wanting to keep your own imagining of it. I think a visual medium is a good choice, though.

Well, I only have one class until I graduate with my Master's, but I'm not sure how that's going to work out because of some hiccups along the way this semester. And I'm starting to apply for jobs, but some of those jobs are sort of contingent on graduating. Blah. I have so many saved outfits, haha. How was going home for Easter?

When is your course finished? Not going so well? It was great! Got to spend some quality time with my sister. It's been a while!

The semester is done May 13th, I think. Eh, it's sort of complicated. We had to get a placement for the class & had to figure out our own placement. I planned out one that was fine based on the syllabus criteria but then the teacher didn't approve it because the teacher didn't have 5 years of teaching in her position. The teacher's been hard to communicate with and doesn't relay information to me directly, but uses a secretary to do it for some reason, and she was going to help me find a new placement but it's just never worked out. So, now I've never figured out a placement and I'm not sure what options there are because I'm supposed to start a full-time job next month, so I'm not sure if I can take an Incomplete and finish it in May because I'll be working.

Yeah, we've traveled a good bit yesterday and all of today. We just got back about an hour ago. I have to work tomorrow 1:30pm-10:45pm; I'm really dreading it.

The trip really wasn't that great. We ended up spending way too much money, like over $200 since just yesterday. Josh's brother came to get us yesterday and brought us to Athens where we stayed in a hotel last night. We would have stayed at his place, but it's literally filthy. Like, "I should probably call CPS on you because this is unlivable conditions for your two young kids" kind of filthy. Cat and dog shit all over the floors and furniture, trash and old food all over the place, and a super gross smell. I refuse to sleep there, so $75 for a hotel. Then today he picked us up and took us to Columbus to explore for a few hours to get a better feel of what it might be like living there. He ended up getting Josh to pay for stuff for him that totaled over $100. Josh is too nice to say no, so Ben takes advantage of him. It really pisses me off. I'm totally fine paying for the gas money since he's driving, but other stuff isn't necessary.

Columbus was like a giant concrete jungle. It was really overwhelming and loud and expensive, and not very welcoming. I'm thinking maybe looking into the outskirts of Columbus would be better for us. It's just stressful because I don't feel like we really got much sorted out for such an expensive past few days.

I'm so sorry to hear that the trip didn't go as planned :( I didn't realize you guys were thinking of moving!
