Woah, the colors of your HA are A++. Did Josh end up getting to see his family? I'm a Night Owl myself, so I know how than can be. Maybe you could nap during the day for a bit and then sleep a few more hours before work? That's usually how I try to fix things when I've messed it up royally. I'm not good at keeping a sleep schedule.

Thank you! I hadn't tried matching every single piece in a while, but I recently bought the jacket and I wanted to work with it. No, they didn't come. They almost always cancel. I am an A+ napper for sure lol. Luckily I only have to work 4 hours that day, so I can go home and sleep for a few hours and get back up when Josh gets up for the day. Your new HA is so cool! It just frustrates me a lot when you're expected to be in multiple places at once and do the work of multiple people. I'm supposed to run the register, zone the entire front half of the store, put away returns, and put away new merch. But we've been staying so busy, I barely get to step away from the register. And I'm the only person in the store (the other worker is in the back), so it's impossible for me to get everything done, no matter how "fast and efficiently" I'm working. And all of the rude customers on top of that when I'm literally such a nice person to everyone who comes in. It's just exhausting and disheartening. Mehhh I'm sorry to vent at you lol I'm just frustrated. xD He didn't seem bothered at all; sadly he's used to it so I think he expects it. My mom also used to cancel to come visit me when I was in college, a lot lol. Speaking of my mom, she borrowed money from me and got a car. It's actually not a bad car and she only paid $300! YAY MASQ!! I'm excited to see everyone's pretty outfits! Remember you can always borrow masks from my gallery any time you want! ^_^

No, feel free to vent! I totally get that. I worked at a small grocery store and they sucked at scheduling. So, to save money, they'd have someone leave an hour before the store closed. Sometimes, that's when a rush came in and you were all by yourself and expected to cash them out, do any last minute cleaning/stocking, etc. Sometimes they forgot to schedule correctly and would leave big gaps like that, and it got really stressful when there was a long line and customers were being demanding and you were the only one in the store who knew how to run the register. That's good, in a way, though? It can be frustrating to get your hopes up and people not end up visiting. Oh, that's not bad at all! That's good she got one, then, and it's nice you could let her borrow money for it! Haha, yeah, it should be exciting! Some SB people keep talking about their HAs they've made. Ooooh, I'll have to take a peak. I was trying to go through them today in the wardrobe and see what ones I might want to get. Do you have any go-to Masq HAs?

I'm so glad you understand. It's nice talking to people who get it haha. And minimum wage isn't enough to deal with this bullshit. I don't have any HAs saved for it like I used to, but I do always make one every year with these items: and (I'm actually messing with them in the wardrobe now lol) I remember seeing them for the first time years ago and I just loved them!

It's 8.75 here, and 8.10 in Ohio. My last few jobs were in Ohio since I'm literally right on the border. It was 7.25 here in WV when I got my first job back in 2012. Hopefully PA raises there's soon, because that's awful. But I think mw should be raised in general, but that's a whole other rant haha I hope so! I'm almost done so I'll show you what I might use soon.

I agree that it should be raised in general, so it's not a rant I mind! Haha. How is anyone supposed to live off of 7.25? It's ridiculous. And people have such negative views of retail and food services workers, but they're SO ESSENTIAL to our society and deserved to be paid enough to get by. I think our governor proposed raising it to $12 but I think he was aiming high so that people would agree on something around $10. Rent in my area got crazy because there were gas wells and people were making bank off of selling/leasing out their land, and the gas guys would pay outrageous prices for rent because they could afford it. Now, the rent hasn't gone down much even though the industry left a few years ago... Oh, sweet! :3 I think I want to host a HA contest one day because I love seeing what people can come up with!

Exactly! If service workers weren't around anymore, people would throw a huge fit, yet they want to treat us like shit. It's exhausting. Do you think they'll be raising it there soon? Josh is literally on the phone with his best friend, ranting about political stuff right now, including mw lol Rent cost isn't too awful here, but considering no jobs around here want to offer full time, it's still practically impossible without assistance. No one can live off of 15 hours a week at mw. A HA contest sounds so fun! I would definitely love to see the results. I've entered a few over the years.

Yeah, they would! I hate how they're trying to add more thing like the ... robot cash registers, so then people are like "Well a robot can do your job." <_< I think so! They haven't raised it in AT LEAST 5 years... No way you can live off of part time. A lot of places fight against full time since they need to provide benefits. Did you enter that one Keith had? I think he ended up gifting CSC to almost everyone cuz he forgot about it for awhile, haha.

I like it so far! I think it might be that the mask and necklace have that bit of leafy green but it's not carried down to the bottom? Maybe. I try to balance the colors, but it's hard to when your feet are covered. Maybe some sort of green ring?

Exactly! It's so bizarre that places don't want to give you benefits....health benefits... to help keep you alive. Oh man, I didn't know anything about that one! What was it like? Ooo that's a good point! I don't have any green rings, but I'll see what I can find. Or even a greenish ground item maybe. It's still a work in progress, and for now, I'm working on another, which will be my 9th masq HA. I need to chill.

Yeah <_< It's dumb. I guess it's cuz it costs them some money? Who knows. There were 4 or 5 random wardrobe items we had to use and be visible on the avatar but otherwise, it was sort of a free for all! There were a lot of cool avatars. Oooo I love that!! You really make using a ton of items look good. I'm always afraid of cluttering, but you blend them so well and it doesn't look like a lot. The orange body glitter looks so good with that mask. <3

Thank you! I'm definitely one for super clutter, haha. It's my style with HAs and when I design houses in the Sims and everywhere. I think having played GaiaOnline for awhile helped with figuring out styles I liked, but the layering is so much better here.

Ooo I've never heard of Gaia. I do love the layering here, though! I got so invested in making masq HAs last night that I had two tabs open working on two different outfits in the wardrobe, and another open to my gallery, trying to pick more. I just have TOO MANY ideas when I go through my gallery. I feel like I could have a different outfit for every day of the masq and still have ideas leftover. I'm so happy to be off today! And tomorrow ^_^ I applied to a full time medical receptionist position this morning, so I'm super hopeful for that, but also not getting my hops up. How are you todayyy?

COOL. What's it about?

It's just exhausting with customers being rude when I'm consistently nice and polite to everyone. And having to do the work of multiple people on my own is tough, especially when we're busy, which is like all the time because our store is literally the only store you can get household items in our town. Minimum wage isn't enough to deal with it.
