I don't think you should feel bad about thinking it. He seems a little too naive or trusting at times when it comes to his family, which I can totally relate to because my family used to walk all over me cuz it was easy to do.

The new sets are pretty! The colors are nice. I think the newer Delish sets are pretty creative.

Josh's brother asked us if we wanted to go to Chicago with him and his girlfriend to go to a Pokemon Go festival. Josh and I don't play much anymore, but Josh has been wanting to see Chicago for years, so we were discussing it. I told him we would need to found out how much everything would cost and go from there. We were still discussing it when Josh decided he really wanted to go, and went ahead and bought the tickets for the festival for all 4 of us, and booked a hotel room so they wouldn't get fully booked. I wasn't too happy about that, of course. Then Josh's brother told him that they can't afford to pay for literally any of this trip right now, but he would pay us back next month. At this point I was very set on selling our tickets and getting a refund on the hotel because Josh's brother is a huge mooch and I don't see him paying us back. And this is our savings for moving out, so I can't afford to gamble it. I tell Josh I'm not comfortable with it at all, and he tells me he's going regardless if I go or not. We get into a pretty big argument about it and neither of us change our minds. Josh left with them early yesterday morning, and he left angry. It hurt a lot and I kind of wish I would have went. I should have been there when he experienced Chicago. I feel wrong for staying, but I would have felt wrong going. He's been telling me the trip has been awful and he regrets going, and that I was right about everything. I didn't say I told you so or anything snarky because I really did want him to have a good time, despite how hurt and upset I am. And I guess his brother told him today that he's not going to be able to pay us back until October, so that just adds on. We're losing a ton of money on this trip, and it's been a bust.

He's the exact same way; he's so timid and he lets them walk over and take advantage of him. I try to help with it, but I think he thinks I'm just being like that because I don't like them.

It can be really hard when someone is critical of your family because is feels personal. Amber doesn't like some of my family (mostly my sister, sometimes my mom), and it sort of bothers me because I wish she could like them, but I totally understand why she doesn't. I don't like them some of the time haha. But, it can be hard to tell where the line is between someone just not liking someone and someone being realistic about someone based on their pattern of behavior (if that makes sense lol).

Yeah, the pastels are great! I don't think there was enough before this line. I also like the neon-y colors of the Beach Glass one. I think I want almost all of the Beach Glass items, though some of them might be hard to use separate from the set?

It makes sense! I really try to like his family, and I always encourage him to invite them here and do stuff with them. I even buy their holiday gifts because I know what they like. I just wish they put in as much effort as we do.

I love the hair on the beach glass! But yeah, some of those items would be really difficult for me to use, so I only added a few pieces to my wl.

Yeah, it can be hard :c I've kind of distanced myself from my mom and sister because they're just problematic and angry and mopey whenever I'm around them. But, some stuff's going on with my sister right now so I'm worried my mom is going to make a fuss about me being there for her or something <_<

Yeah, like, the top is sort of an interesting combo of colors & I'd have to see if I could find a way to to use it before I considered buying it. I might have to get some of the one set, since I bought that one holo CW and it'd match really well!

Hopefully things get better with your sister soon. Josh's family sounds a lot like yours; they're angry and mopey a lot also, making it difficult to be around them. Not that my family is a walk in the park lol

I've been trying to not buy CSC anymore, but I broke and spent $10 for bonus weekend. Oh well, it could have been worse I guess lol

Haha, aww. Yeah, retail therapy is nice but then sometimes the next day I'm like "Ouch" XD We went out to eat last night. That was our treat lol. We've had to be careful with money lately because I don't get paid that much and Amber isn't working and ugh lol. I want that job. You did a good job with the new HA! Nice and soft and angelic.

Yeah, excited to be closer to the city, for sure. Commute times will decrease. And as much as it stinks to downsize.. it's kind of nice to purge things that we dont need or use.

Hahaha Samson, my cat, loves boxes. He automatically jumps in them and just chills there. I think he feels safe in them.

It's rough! It'll be better when Amber starts back to school cuz she'll maybe do work study but she'll also be getting some money. But, I don't know if I'll be working. Ugh. I'll probably try to work at Walmart or somewhere temporarily. Or maybe apply for a job or two at the college.

Milo is the same! But right now he's running from room to room and ripping up packing paper xP

My boyfriend has to commute almost an hour and a half.. mine is about 30 minutes with no crazy traffic.

Finding a job can be really difficult. If you do end up working at Walmart, I hope it's a lot better than the one here! haha
