Haha yeah, I had to fix her. Cheap ramen always makes me feel gross, so I sympathize. I love ACNL!! I haven't played it much in the past few months.

We're all awful at bowling, so it was quite fun xD I tried working with that skirt thing, but I didn't have a lot that worked with it. I just bought these shoes today and now I want to use them 24/7 haha I love them.

- It's weird to start over in New Leaf, but at least I didn't lose too much progress (I think it was about 3 months worth). With Animal Crossing, I usually don't play much after the first year or so.

Well it's the 150th birthday so there was a HUGE celebration pretty much everywhere you went. We live in the capital so we went downtown for abit, but there waslike 500k people there and impossible to move so we went to a friend's for a BBQ and had margaritas ;)

Yeah, I have a habit of being super into it for a while, and then burning out and not playing for months at a time. But I have a few of my original villagers still in my town, and my town is a few years old now, so I would be pretty sad if they left.

Oh that sounds fun! We're having our 4th of July celebration soon, but I probably won't participate unless I end up going to see some fireworks.

Fireworks are always fun! We went to look at apartments today... found one we really like!! Applied just minutes ago. Cross your fingers for us!

Well it's one that I found online basically the day we found out we are getting evicted. It's a 2 bedroom apartment in a small 6 unit building - top floor (so don't hear people walking around above you!). The windows are huge so there's tons of natural light. Hardwood flooring throughout.. like authentic hardwood floors. Kitchen and bathroom have both recently been gutted and redone. The kitchen is bigger than our current kitchen - IN OUR 3 BEDROOM HOUSE. It's lovely. The bedroom will be REALLY tight with our king sized bed.. but it just means we'll have to do some downsizing of stuff and purging of items.. which is probably a good thing in the long run.

We went to look at another apartment afterward and were both like nahhhhh. We doubt we;ll find anything as bright and big as this one that we love so we're going for it. IT's also kitty corner to a grocery store for us and only a 7 minute walk to a major bus stop for nathan to get to work.

It sounds amazing!! I'm a big fan of lots of natural light. And hardwood floors and new renovations sounds incredible. I hope you get it! Do you have an idea of when you'll hear back?

No clue. He just e-mailed me back and said that he got our application and will be reviewing it with the owners. Hopefully we find out tomorrow! It's such a fast turnaround. We'd be moving in 3 weeks. Turns out you can give 10 days notice to terminate your lease once you've been given an eviction notice. So we aren't stuck here til September if we don't want to be.

That's definitely a plus. They shouldn't worry too much about how short of a notice you give them since they're making you move out in a short time frame. So maybe you'll be packing tomorrow!

I'm doing alright! It's been a lazy day. I wanted to go for a walk, but it's just too hot here. I've been having trouble sleeping because of it, also. I get hot so easily, so summer really isn't a good time for me haha

It hasn't been TOO bad here. In the 70's and 80's. We have a pretty beastly AC, though. We had to get it last summer, cuz we were on the third floor and it was always at least 900 degrees in the house & our one cat couldn't handle it. We basically lived in the bedroom at the height of summer because that's where the AC was, haha. I'm not a big fan of the heat, either. I hope it cools down a bit for you, but that's unlikely :C

Your HA is lovely! The colors are so nice and soft and dreamy.

I'm good! Got a few odds and ends done, but mostly relaxed this weekend. I work tomorrow, and then have Tuesday off. Are you doing anything for the holiday?

- That's quite a feat to have some original villagers after a few years. I can't remember if I pulled that off in Wild World.

- I'm doing okay. I'm very happy that I can sleep in tomorrow! It's too hot outside, so I stay inside unless I need to pick up my fiance or run errands.

Do you have any plans tomorrow? I'm going to be doing what my HA is doing: drinking (though not as intensely as my HA :P) and staying inside with my fiance. We're loners. XD

It's been in the 90s here and I burn sooo easily, so going outside isn't really top on my list. But staying inside for too long makes me really fidgety, so I can't win. xD

Thank you! I wanted to work with the new sleeves, which turned out to be a lot more difficult than I had thought, but I managed to make it work. I really love the light light pink shades.

Yay for relaxing! Josh was off yesterday and today, so we've mostly just been relaxing, also. I doubt I'll do anything for the 4th. How about you?
