Once the flower stem died off, sometimes you get either a new flower stem, or new plants growing, so as long as it's cheap it's worth a shot ;) ooo not too big then (my dragon tree is taller than that :P)

laughs my biggest problem is finding a large enough outer pot for my dragon tree - I've got larger pots for the soil & roots, but the decorative ones are always too shaped to fit the darn thing! :P

yeah, trouble is most don't tell you the size at the base, just the size at the top.... and they're so angled, you can't be certain if the plant would actually fit in there or not....

even if you looked for one that wasn't flared? I have some that are the same from top to bottom.

Once you take in the colour (most of the ones on that bookcase are in silvery metal pots - they need to be quite heavy), they all seem to be really flared. I'll have another look in Homebase at some point in the spring though, in the hope that they might have some new stuff in ;)

yeah March seems to be the best time. Measure your bottom so you now how thin it can go.

But yeah, once I've figured out the pot I'll need to use for the plant, I'll make a note of the minimum the base can be, and see if I can find something that isn't so shaped (if the top is too wide, the other dragon tree won't fit next to it :P)

hehe I tend to try and avoid buying plants that're identical to one I already have.... apart from that little dragon tree (I rescued one from a garden centre sale, and Mum got the other one) ;) hehe I couldn't resist just using that cat & the bg today ;)

Yeah I don't blame you, better to get different ones. Its purfect :D there was another version I had wishlisted but I like this one a lot so it worked out. There's another one in the shops if you want it ;) lol.
