I got a reply back from the breeder - sounds positive, he said he has an 8 week old green budgie available at the moment, and to phone if we're interested :D

it's not quite the colour budgie Mum was after (although I'm not actually sure what colour she does want), but hopefully he'll have some others available by the spring ;) At least he's ok with it being in a cage rather than an aviary, and not being allowed out for flight time ;)

probably not - really I want to be able to choose from a couple.... if there's just one available, I don't want to feel pressured into going with that one (I'm too picky for my own good really). The breeder doesn't do email that well either, so any contact has to be by phone.... which means Mum has to do it (I don't do phone calls unless I really have to). I like the new HA by the way - what's the shirt around his waist?

Whoa, I wouldn't have the patience for that! Knitting a toy on 3mm needles was a nightmare (seemed to take forever), so I'd not even get as far as finishing the first sleeve on a sweater that size :P

it really suits him :D You can tell I only tend to do female HAs - whenever there's a contest / challenge involving a male HA, I always get stuck :P
