sorry about your ant issue. I read somewhere that ants didn't like ground cinnamon so if you have some you could try that at the source of where they're coming in. Sounds to me like they're dehydrated and searching for water if they've made it all the way up to your bed. Or maybe they found a hidden stash of rainbow... ? Who knows either way I hope you can get rid of them asap. ((hugs))

I should really try and get back to bed, my stomach was bugging me so I got up for some water. Need to also make a note to get new cat litter, this cheap-o one the hub raves about is not going to cut it, smells like a damn zoo up in here and their litter was just changed a day and a half a go. Bleh.

OH GOODNESS NO! I lived with ant infestation for a few years in a rental. Finally they called an exterminator to treat inside and outside the house and they come back twice a year. It made a huge difference. No more ants! I'd call one asap if you have them in your bed. nope, nope, nope.

heh. I remember just last year, I was complaining about the stink bugs. I thought that was grossing me out. but now ANTS! and worse yet, it's the little PISS ANTS.

YES! the hub had some of that liquid poison stuff, and it DID help, but they are still coming around. and i don't know if i'm picking them up with my pants, when i'm in the kitchen (cause they really need to be cut/hemmed/madeshorter) and i'm bringing them in that way, (when i raise my legs and sit back on the bed)

but yesterday it just freaked me out. you know how you get a "bug" on you, you knock it off/kill it/whatever, but after that, every time a strand of hair moves or your necklace chain shifts, and you freak again, thinking it's another bug. hah.

i've had the hub put down dried coffee grounds aroound the outside of the house. (especially kitchen area) and because i bitched to him over the phone (TEXT ALL CAPITALS) he brought home some of those "ant traps" and put them around for me. hopefully it will help.

truth. i need to calm down. (this is what happens when i have no rainbow. I become Very High Strung) heh. /another way to say high maintinance/ I'd rather have the ants then the stinkbugs. THEY NEVER DIE! and i would have to capture them and flush them down the toilet. at least with ants, i can STOMP THEM DEAD DEAD DEAD.

I think I read things like cardamom and cayenne pepper are supposed to help, but when I had the ants, they only stayed away for a bit with the cayenne pepper. After a day or two--maybe three, they ignored it entirely, even when I added more. Oh--I also made sure to remove my clothes from the room and got MD to help shake all of them out. Those demons like to sneak in everywhere. The clothes didn't have them, but I wasn't taking any chances.
