I've only been looking since June since I had some other things going on before then. The interview that I had yesterday offered 8 a hour and it's part time and I told them that i'd accept it, mainly because it works with my class this fall. The one before that was a phone interview and i guess they found someone else better. It's not easy, but I'll keep putting in the applications until something bites.

I'm sure you will find something soon. Good that you found a temporary one that works around school. My situation is a little trickier. I'm looking to move across the country again =/

I don't think the interview on Monday went well. I thought it did, but I haven't heard from them. Yeah, I'd say your situation is more intense for job hunting. Where are you planning on moving too?

(i had no pancetta) so there's no meat in it at all. i put in a good chug a chug of my good wine i put in, not only the celery carrots and garlic, but i also dumped in the last of my squash and zucchini that i had made (and getting tired of eating) grin and also, put in 2 cans of black beans and only 1 can of cannellini (cause i want to save a can of cannellini to put in my tortellini soup i'm going to make this week) ALSO, used my good tomatoes (the San Marzano, EXPENSIVE CAN tomato)

PLUS when i put some seasonings on the grocer list, the man ACTUALLY brought me FRESH herbs!! (when i was just thinking i'd be happy with the dried in a jar)

I can't wait to eat a bowl!! lol

she's a pharmacy tech, so half the time, she'll be working the pills, and the other half she'll be in the front of the pharmacy helping the people.

it's not a "chemistry research" job, but at least it's "chemistry related" and if she likes it enough, she can always take a class and get her pharmacy license.

oh, and HOLLIS, Don't Give Up like we kept telling Angel, some times, it takes a couple of weeks before the company finally calls back and like i told my stepmother, Some Times (most times) they don't even bother calling and sayiing "thanks but we found someone else" heh.

Yea he is like STOP STARING AT ME!!! I AM TRYING TO SLEEP! And he isnt happy I wont allow a fan to directly blow on him right now. He loves his fan, but I won't turn it towards him. Its on and near, but not direct blow. So he grumpy. And he isnt happy that the youngest kitties are trying to keep him company. I keep finding them curled up near him...so he ends up moving away and they inch closer again. LOL

Another note, I have been slowly ripping up the carpet in my apartment. It smelled and is probably older then any of us. (Did it with landlords approval of course). I feel accomplished. I have only my bedroom and closets left to do. I just finished the living room tonight. :)

As someone who has interviewed and sat in on interviews before, I know the person giving the interview will give off vibes like they really want you and you're the perfect fit but decide you are not the right fit at all. I think it's because they don't want you to feel upset or nervous if you suspect your bombing your interview. Like, I've sat in on interviews with my boss before thinking he was going to hire this guy he really liked, only for him to tell me he was not the right candidate at all afterwards. Although if they are anything like my company, it can take them weeks to get back to someone. It took them months to get back to my now cubicle neighbor before they hired him.

I am looking to move back to the east coast. All of my family and friends are back in NY, it's just me and my boyfriend out here on the west coast.

guuuurl, ,you should know by now - nothing in life is free and whoever tries telling you otherwise is trying to sell something. I heard now you need to get your PhD in order to become a pharmacist and get your license, is that true? Ah well at least they have her doing different things so she won't get bored doing the same job.

Hey buddy! Long time now see! How are you? Yeah I have been looking for a while now. Some days the job just gets way too stressful and I get depressed. I had a breakdown in my boss's office a month ago and was so embarrassed by it. I figure if it's gotten to that point it's time to move on =/

Yeah about half of the battle community loves it and the other half hates it. I like it for Verdugo to get through battle quests, but don't like it for all of my other pets and actual battling where strategy matters. They have been making some changes though! I have hope it will get better.

Amiga I miss you! I can deal with it, who knows I may even come to like the new system, but when they were about to introduce it I was on my last BQ fight and couldn't use scrolls against Prodigy so had to use my carefully hoarded potions

Ouch...yeah, its not so much being homesick, its that lack of support, If you had a crappity day at work its a 7 hour flight to get a hug from your Mom and a plate of "Tomorrow will be better" enchiladas and nothing tops a hug from Mom when you're down

About the interviews, I've sat in on interviews and conducted, I'm pretty much a straight shooter, but have seeb people jst try to mess with the interviews head, the doodle on a scratch pad so it looks like they're taking notes, lean close to whisper something to the co-interviewer and we're talking "What scent are you wearing?" or I'm hungry, where do you want to eat?

, thanks for the support. Things are going quite well at the moment . So life is keeping me busy. My old erm... Church related friends have been very supportive. Turns out they were just backing off for awhile not knowing what to do. Mostly because of my previous roommate s attitude made them feel very awkward. And part of that was me believing a lot of lies, like people were in their business, and gossiping abt them etc. Turns out it was all talk. So embarrassing that i believed all of it. :/

Oh wow no I've never seen that. The interviews have always been very professional. It's only afterwards when we get together as a group and say yes or no towards candidates.

, it's hard, when the person you're closes to, is constantly in your ear, saying lies. have to admit. i was pretty glad about my mom and aunts. they really helped keep my feet on the ground and smacked me in the head sometimes. and i was really lucky, because my grandmother ALWAYS loved me, No Matter WHAT i did. (i remember her holding me and rocking me when i was little. heh.) i guess the lost of my brother, really opened the family's eyes, and we ALWAYS tell each other "I love you" and "You're being an idiot, but i still love you"
