I asked because the two of them probably have different navigations/menus and stuff. I'm guessing you have 10- I was searching your problem- and I think this is actually a pretty common problem with Windows 10

Apparently there was something called Wifi Sense unique to 10. I thought that might have been causing you issues, but apparently it was so crappy that they disabled it! So I don't think it's still hanging around on your laptop unless you haven't updated it in like a year.

I had downloaded the GWX control panel, and it found the 10 OS update lurking in my system and deleted it..it was like 6GBs-sleeping on my computer, waiting to install itself.

I hate how Microsoft did that. Really sneaky, underhanded shit. lol

update your flash... Your computer Wifi access has to tell you what networks are available. The best way is to make yours secure and not open.

"show avalible networks" and the list of networks show up" mine list of neighbors (all boxes checked to auto connect) hidden (where that one came from i don't know, and it scares me)"
