OOHH SMIRNOFF VANILLAAAAAA~~~~ The only Three Olives variety that I have had and don't like is their vanilla. It tastes like the vanilla flower! I was not expecting that, and it was icky. My favorite Smirnoff is the sour berry lemon. I tried that for New Years. It was fabulous.

grin. it's suppose to be 'big' in italy, especially doing the summer. found out, all you do is get a good vodka, (5th) and some organic lemons (no chemicals used on them), pack the lemons tight in a jug, pour the vodka in, let sit cool dark/semi-dark place for about a month, and you got lemon vodka or.... Lemoncello (MUCH more "lemon" than lemon vodka)

but i want a GOOD vodka. which to me, means at least a grey goose. and no. it's not "for their name" it's because to me, it's a good vodka.

Grey Goose may be popular but I have not once heard it being a bad vodka by any means. My friends boyfriend drinks Grey Goose exclusively (there's plenty of good cheaper stuff out there, I always tell him he's missing out) I just haven't been able to justify that price tag yet. I would love to try lemoncello myself. Perhaps this summer you and I should both commit to making it this year? :D

I always gravitate towards my tried and true cherry vodka and cherry kool aid. I'm a big fan. Though lately I've been mixing different flavored vodkas in with orange juice for fancy screwdrivers (coworker friend mentioned wanting to try strawberry vodka with orange juice. it got me curious). Normally I just do orange vodka/orange juice.

Yeah, i guess I would be preaching to the choir haha. Are you saying that he is younger then you? Well, my dad also worked in nursing homes as a CNA and Medicine Aide and then at the Bell County prison as a Medicine Aide before becoming a prison guard. He already told me if he had to go to a nursing home, he'd be keeping those CNAs and RNs in line and I can see that happening!

We're hoping they tell him on the 16th or 17th when he will be having the surgery done. I'm hoping it will be this month, but I have feeling it might be next.

Anywho, back to the scheduled program now haha! He was infantry in the Army and then he was in the administrative field in the Air Force until he retired. He did supervise others while in too. In the county jail there is an infirmary that he and the other medicine aides worked out of. He did the prison guard job for awhile until he had total knee replacement and worked in the infirmary more until he retired from working the 2nd time.

I believe it! Once someone has had a medical career, it's pretty much stuck with them until their last breath. I'm sure it's fun to watch though :)
