I picked a heck of a day for my train travel...heavy rain...delay when a tree fell on the track...they moved it and off we went...and another tree on the track. The crew that came to move the tree got stuck on the freeway because a tree fell on the freeway! The conductor said we couldn't back up because there was a mudslide behind us! haha so far I"m about four hours late but comfortable with wifi and electricity ..which is more than I can say for the friend I am going to visit...her electricity is off due to this storm..what an adventure!

Just wanted to say thanks to Anonymous for the lovely friendship bracelet. I have a whopping head cold and already missed several days of Survival. Hopefully, I'll get some time to participate. Gonna go see if I can catch a strain!

If nobody's explained it for you yet, go to the infection program page and pay to get infected. If you want to get infected quickly, you can go to the Survival boards and ask someone with the strain you want to bite you. Once you're fully infected, you can then bite other people who want to be bitten.

- I love Amtrak! I was on the Pacific Surfliner...up the coast from LA to Grover Beach. Because of all the weather troubles my 5 hour trip was 10 hours...but still fun! Very comfortable and everyone was in a great mood...conductor had a sense of humor which everyone appreciated. I dream of going on across the country on Amtrak one day....leisurely...hope I can do that :)
