I need tips for that game too!!! I was reading somewhere for a similar game that you should not use the up arrow shrug I think my highest score is 512? then I get stuck :(

This is what works for me: I don't use the UP arrow at all, and I try to keep my high sore tiles in the bottom right corner, so I am using the RIGHT and DOW arrows most. If I use the LEFT, I try to send my tiles back to the right to keep lower score tiles in the right corner. I try to value up on a lower row before a higher row, aiming always to keep those high values together at the bottom right corner. I don't worry much about the 2, 8, 16 as they get changed very quickly.

Congratulations on your Lieflike achievies! I am working on filling pet treasures. I have 170 items yet to give to my pets for their treasures, but having to check if they are duplicates is slowing me down. I am SOOOO picky picky picky! hehehe
