Hospitals mean well, but they are terrible places. I am happy for you that you are in your home. I was told if you can get your pet to battle, the hunger gauge empties faster. I haven't noticed though. The pet I feed is not the pet I use for battles.

Oh I made my pet battled some opponents but the hunger stayed the same lol so I'm not sure if this is a myth or real.. :P

Yes, ..Hospitals do mean well, and the Doctors did save my life, more than once, but most of the nurses in the CCU I was in, were awful. It was a group of night shift nurses and all they wanted to do was flirt with the other guy nurses and run giggling and laughing up and down the hall all night talking about food. Never once coming in to check on me when I yelled for them, never once coming in to check on me at all.

Honestly, I had to use my cell phone to call the CCU for my nurse after waking, choking and throwing up. They had put the nurse call button on the night stand far out of my reach. (It had been on my blanket, arms length away.)

I had one nurse, the nurse that took care of me when I first was taken to the CCU, she was the best and only decent nurse while I was there.

There are so many wonderful nurses and I don't mean to give them a bad wrap,... it was just my personal experience on this one day. Maybe these group of nurses do not act like that all the time. I would have been better taken care of that first night, if I had been at home... but of course had something happened...hubby might not have had time to get me to the HOP in time. So I do understand the need for a patient to be in the Hospital that first night after a Heart Cath.

So Happy To Be Home I can't tell you! :D Sweet Hubby is in there making us dinner as I speak. Don't know what I'd do without him. <3

I hope thing are improving for you and hubby, glad you had a chance to come in the lair for a visit. Oh sometimes coffee mugs just slip out of your hand. I know mind do, My grip isnt as good as it could be any more. Especially if I have done to much with my hands. I wanted to go green to use my new frame. Ringo just came up all lovey dovey, need his TLC and scratches. Oh Cuteness really is the key to survival, that and the way they run interference for each other. When the other is in trouble. never fails one is always covering the other's furry butt when in trouble. Oh I get the paw surrender with all 4 in the air.

My experience with hospitals is as a caretaker. I have been hired numerous times by families to be with their elderly relative. Hospitals seem no longer able to give minimal care. I stayed with my daughter recently after she had a baby, they actually seemed to be quite attentive... at least at night. Article about pet hunger eat unique

@ Straywillow - Sadly I don't think you are wrong :( We had a protest outside a Mosque in town the other weekend and I was horrified, families being harassed on their way to worship. If it had been a church I bet there would have been outrage. I think Brexit and Trump are major mistakes and I wonder if this time will go down in history as one of the most intolerant ;^; Ugh I shouldn't talk about this stuff it's just too depressing.

I always end up breaking them in random ways. Lost one 2 weeks ago to a tray of potted plants. Yesterday I "percussed" one off the counter while tapping ground coffee out of the grinder top. And yet...the one I went to put on the deck railing and missed is completely intact. XD

I talked to son, he ordered mug from walgreens. It had picture of a basketball star, that said his Mom was his MVP. So son put coffee is his MVP. But he says, there are a lot of sites you can order personalized mugs.
