You know BEARS I really had to rethink my mind set over birthday celebrations this year, that I need to count my blessings on my birthday more than the celebrating of my birthday. After all a birthday really is a celebration of life, so from now on I am going to spend my birthday counting my blessings. This year, I counted the health of family and friends here and in RL. Which if you think about it, what really matters more than in anything in your daily life. But family and friends, their health and happiness. So I am truly blessed and grateful this year! Maybe that is a life lesson I was and needed to gain this year, as I get another year older. So its one great thing that came out of this pandemic, I didnt think I would learn a lesson out of something that scares me witless. Bless you bears and your families, BE SAFE!

Thanks for the cute birthday smilies! I didnt get cake, I didnt want to order anything that wasnt sealed to the house, and i normally dont have ingredients for cake in the house. But I have an icecream bar with you name on it. Oh I know WLs been annoying me since sunday. i tried mine, colorful, Jazzyw5 all gave me trouble and wouldnt open at all.

How I celebrated my birthday
I spent the morning in the warm sun out in big garden here at Healer's Hall, much to the consternation of the farm manager, Master Cloverleaf, who believes it unfitting for the Master Healer to be out hoeing weeds in the rows of asparagus half naked and covered in mud. Fresh air, sunlight and volcanic rich soil does wonders for the psyche and physique.
After a lounge in the hot-baths and a good brushing, I swept through the halls for a spot-inspection of the healing staff and the patients here at Healer's Hall. I have a wonderful staff and it's important to acknowledge their hard work with a little scare from time to time. After I left, (the collective sigh of relief was impressive) I sent word to the entire staff, (including the farm staff and maintenance crews who were served first) that there was a birthday banquet being held in the kitchen garden patios in their honor and that they could attend after their work shifts were over. The party lasted until 11:00 AM this morning. Weldon made his famous German Chocolate Cake and Poppy Wheezle brought over two hogsheads of Poppy's Famous Wheezle Brew and not a drop was left over. I had cake for breakfast with my tea and it is sooooo...yummy.
Essentially, it was a quiet day. Not much going on. A wonderful birthday and made even better by the warmth and generosity of my family here in the Lair! I love you all and I bless you.
