I used to co-run one of the active kpop forum groups a few years ago, but ended up abandoning it in my "oOOh I'm too cool for kpop now" phase. Also, hi everyone~! My 10 year kpop-anniversary is coming up this year, and I am extremely multifandom. That said, the bands near and dear to my heart are VIXX, DB5K, The Boyz, Day6, & Stray Kids (if I listed all the bands I liked and kept up with, the we'd be here a while). I am fairly familiar with pretty much all bands (although I do have a gap year or two in my history and some of the new kids are still not on my radar), so feel free to chat with me about anyone~

Thank you~! I'm so glad you like him! I'm planning on making an overlay so there are three heads. I was almost done with it forever ago, but my laptop died and had to be reset so I lost all my files (and motivation).

I've slooowly found my way back onto Subeta and it's been so long that I've fallen into the BTS hole. And I don't particularly want to get out of it. :')

I managed to snag tickets to see them in NE US in May, apparently there'll be a new comeback mid-April! I'm very excited.

Was actually thinking about posting about Stray Kids' comeback last night and I forgot today. xD BUT YESSSSS. Watching the Miroh MV, at first I was like...well this is weird and different, but I really like it and it grows on me the more I listen to it. That is one of the big reasons I love Stray Kids. Their music is weird and different and they make soooo many songs that like mash together different beats together and while that could be a trainwreck and many people, kpop and not, have tried and failed at that and it just sounds like a jumbled mess. But somehow Stray Kids know exactly what they are doing and bring us something so different and "wrong" that is so right and amazing. They do it very well, lol. The whole album is amazing, but I have to say I think Chronosaurus is my fave. I just love how it sounds so much. And that song (I can't remember which oh my gosh lol, my brain) Felix does this low rap and I was dead. I am dead. xD Speaking of though, I am LIVING for how many Felix lines they have blessed us with this comeback. I am praying to the kpop gods that these babies get their first win! crosses fingers and toes

And oh gosh....BTS comeback. I am beyond excited. They kill me every time. Lol. As someone who has been with them since the very beginning, I am so proud of them...and nervous about how big they are getting and what bad things this can and has already brought them... But I know they are gonna kill this comeback like always and I am SO EXCITED!!

Miroh is crazy innovative just like all their music. It kinda had some Idol vibes going on? But whatever genre/country inspired that track is LIT. Love it. AND OMG YEEEEESSSSS Chronosaurus is definitely the best song on the album (they are all so great, but that one is just so beautiful). Is the other song you're talking about Maze of Memories (Felix definitely has a lot more lines this album and it is so great, so honestly it could be any of them, lol)? That is probably tied with Miroh as my second fave, if not just second~ IT IS 🔥

My sister and I have been into BTS since debut too~!! I get a little emo sometimes thinking about how far they've come and how much I wanted them to get recognition back in the day~ They are already pretty peak popularity at this point: selling out in some of the world's largest stadiums, BTS is practically a household name, bringing in hundreds of millions of $$$ every year (which is freaking INSANE). I have no idea where they would even go from here??? Really I hoped (but knew it wouldn't happen) that after TXT debuted BigHit would let the boys take a long break because they deserve it, and it's not like they are suddenly going to become unpopular during a hiatus.

So I was listening to the mini album again (multiple times since it's so good lol) since I posted and the song I was talking about is Victory Song. Felix with his low ass voice in the beginning of the song. xD Maze of Memories is actually one of my faves on this album though. The piano with the edm stuff is so good, ugh. And the beat switch ups in that song are A+. Plus it SOOOOO nice to hear rapper Chan aka CB97 making a comeback. It feels like it's been so long since he really, fully rapped as Stray Kids (and not just in 3Racha mixtapes).

Yayyyy, a fellow OG ARMY! We stanned the right group! hehe I want them to have a nice, long break too. Like the boys had just finished a world tour...and then started a brand new world tour. I do love BigHit and believe it's a great company that does care about it's artists, unlike the majority of other companies. I just wish they could take a break. I do know how much they love their fans and want to give back as much as they can to us and they are precious and give us too much honestly. T-T

Also, am I the only looking forward to TXT most likely winning some rookie awards, and being at award shows with BTS and I can't wait to see all the brotherly support. lol I love watching fancams of artists reactions and stuff from MAMA and MMA and all those korean award shows. xD Like BTS finally has a little brother group to support at cheer for. lol

first time posting here, but i just had to spread the gospel of Neon by Yukika! it's kinda interesting in that it's a japanese girl singing in korean over city pop production, but it's just so pristine and easily my favorite kpop song of the year so far. the video is also gorgeous, very aesthetically driven and pleasant.

OMG YES. If Ateez doesn't win at least one rookie award, I am gonna be mad. Like those boys deserve it so much. Definitely one of my favorite rookie groups. I remember when the KQ Fellaz dance videos started coming out and I was like who are these super amazing talented dudes?? Their company definitely knows how to hype up a new group, lol.
