I have no idea whether or not this will ever reach you, but I am touched by your kind note.
Currently I wish I were at the Masquerade, where I once danced my slippers to shreds under the bright gaslights of the Ballroom. I am not sure what I miss most--the freedom, or the warm embrace of the waltz, the kisses and flirtations and assignations, the innocence with which we once embraced and greeted one another.
Now I am alone, and must remain so, for a while.
Perhaps we will meet in happier times.

I got one of those too and I felt a bit shocked and really sad for :(. So I looked in the forums and found this thread. I clicked on the link and now I am more confused as before. Does not really look like a plot to me right now and not sure what to think of. English is not my first language and maybe I might not understand, what this should mean. Not sure if we have to be careful to answer on this link.
