One could argue that's in part because you don't take commissions therefore folks don't know you are willing to make cws for people who aren't you :P

I'm just sayin haha. The scales give the fabric under a slightly darker impression so there was just a color difference that wasn't /really/ there but was a trick of the eye when the scales didn't cover the upper half.

I mean. I find doing commissions hard. XD

I'd start with one of the standards probably: black, brown, blonde haha.

So no doing a crazy colors like I'm doing the gowns. XD

I mean, you can do crazy ones if you want haha. I just think the first color is always easier if it's one of the popular ones or a fade.
