Just really tired lately again. Going to stay with dmy for a few days tomorrow and taking Loki with me for the first time. Scheduled my driving test for tuesday.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! I've been swamped at work, hopefully when it gets less crazy I'll have enough energy to post here more often. My birthday plans are to go see a movie and idk what else yet, maybe just relax.

Ohhh!! I'm glad there is a pill form! Still, seems like there should be more they can do for your Dad. Best of luck to your daughter! Finding work can be difficult :( It took me forever to find my job.

School is out and I spent yesterday really tired. Seems like the past couple of weeks I spent sleepwalking, and now that the stress is gone from the walkouts and extended school days, I've just crashed. Helped to get a couple students to pass their math classes, so that was good. Also got the hitch on my car with the help of our mechanic. Even he was saying he wouldn't have tried to get that thing in with the car on the ground, lol. Made me feel better about not being able to do it xD

This week will be all trip preparation C: The battery in the trailer is not holding a charge anymore, so we have to replace it. But I'd rather find that out now than we get up to Yosemite.

Jeez, 6 days since I posted. That should tell you about all the interesting stuff going on here.

It rained all 6 days. And days before that. Sun is partly out atm but some possible thunderstorms later and again on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday. Will be nice for the holiday weekend but I'm a horrible humanbeing and I always want it to rain for the weekend so the tourists are quieter. If the weather is good I don't get much sleep usually.

Have not noticed any leaks in all the rain. Only one super windy day but the wind was from the wrong direction to know if it will leak in the kitchen again. But so far so good. Electrician came this morning to see what we needed done. Found a few things the builder did wrong all those years ago which need fixing, on top of the issues we already had. He'll call with an estimate and hopefully we can tick that off of our box before we head home in June.

Hoping the weather will remain nice after the holiday so we can do the few things we want to do. Especially head up to north Jersey to the cemetary which we didn't manage to do all of the last year.

Feeling oddly stressed this afternoon though. Not sure why. My blood pressure might be off kilter or something.

Happy Birthday!! So glad to hear you haven't noticed any leaks yet! We are leaving for Yosemite on May 29th and returning on June 6th ^_^ The drive will take about 2 days, so we will be getting into the Park on the 30th. I cannot wait ❤

Going out to see Deadpool 2 today! Then going out to dinner to celebrate Andrew's and Debbie's school accomplishments. Debbie got straight A's this last semester, and Andrew got mostly A's with a B or two. He took 5 classes this semester, two of which were fast-tracked online, so that is still really good!

My mom and I had a quiet day. Took a drive on the island as it was the first sunny day since we got here. And she treated me to a very nice dinner.
We're going to do our usual day trip for my birthday to Cape May on Thursday as that seems the best weather day.

What do you do every year for your birthday on Cape May? Sounds like a nice place.

Cape May, NJ is the southern most part of the state. It's a beach town. Used to have those old majestic Victorian beach homes and hotels. Sadly like Atlantic City, they are gone now. Though still some smaller homes from the era. Most are bed and breakfasts. There is a pedestrian only shopping area with stores and restaurants. We usually go in the stores that are things we don't see anywhere else. We'll have some lunch in the middle. Then we usually go to the point which is the very tip of the state. You can see the ferries that take people and cars between NJ and Delaware. We'll sit have a drink and watch the boats and people. Doesn't sound like much but seems to take most of the day. I'm sure there is likely more to do but that's usually enough for us. I'd post the picture of the shopping area if I had my computer here. Might be on my sd card. I'll have to look.

Sounds nice! But a lot of walking. Haven't been to the coast here in many years but I liked watching the boats. Esp the ones with colorful sails. And going out to eat seafood is a must. So good!
