they will take away 2 stats forever. I use them so I can make my health and strength higher. I take away speed and def. For me I like more health and strength. It just depends on your preference of your pets build, but yes once you use one those stats are just gone.

With me, I've hit 35k in stats (HP, ST, SP, DF) once you hit 35k you can't add stats to anything but intel. So I drain SP and DF to add more ST to my pet. And yes, they are gone forever.

it really depends on you individual preference. I have many pets, so I can change it a bit just so they are not carbon copies of each other. I do kind of cap my def around 7k and speed 4-5k. With sizz I did more health and with stinky I did more strength. You are welcome to check out my 1st few pets on my profile. They range from biggest to smallest on my look up starting at the top and going down.

I just kind of kept an eye on it for quite awhile, but think when I get about 3k or so away from the cap if need be I start to take away in some spots if I needed to and depending on how I was traning. (from EXP, which you can use just where you want, to tomes or other boosters.) Hope that makes sense.

Just to point out, by no means am I saying my way is the right or best way. It is just my way. There are people who like a more even build. It will mainly all depend on how you would like your pets build to end up. There is no wrong way or right way. Some might think there is, but that is why they have their pets and you have yours. :)

I actually pinged you so I wouldn't forget to ask you if you think we should start a group like that. You CAN'T be all caught up yet -- I just finally got around to finishing off the mage the other day. I had forgotten all about him and still had like 5 battles to go. lol

I love what just said about final builds! Most of us have our own opinions and they all do vary a lot. I had 4 pets capped at the old 22k but I haven't recapped any of them since I'm just not in a hurry to do so.
My thoughts are similar to lyn's except I see defense closer to 5k and speed at 6k+. I hate the thought of using those leeches since gaining stats is so expensive! It is better to build the pet the way you want it to finish up.

Are you getting your quests done?

Yep! I even activated a GA medal (thanks again to that wonderful fellow battler who was so very kind & thoughtful!) so I can do more quests and get more tokens! :) I always start farthest back and then try to pick a few newer things too. I think this year I will finally be able to finish the pre-2010 stuff. Those food prices have been killing me!

I've been doing all of them except Sarah. Ugh, I didn't even think about food items but I guess I need those too

Well as I expected I'm not feeling well today, what I get for eating what I shouldn't, lol ;P I'll be better in a day or two so it doesn't really matter I guess, just kinda; meh. BUT! Useless Postal Service actually managed to find our house at last, so I'll be all set up on a proper computer again tomorrow ... after installing a dozen things or so :)

The Mage was very mean today; 16 amulets in total and not a single tome, so that's cost me an extra 3mil to stay on track Ah well, BQs got done anyway :)

No problem, if you don't get the amount you need by the end I'll get you a few. I've still got loads of other books I can get so I'm not fussed about them this year.
