Haha I agree with drjeff I have equipped my smaller pets with scrolls like skelly scroll and fatal fire, gift of the forj, etc and they are able to beat opponents that they probably shouldn't be able to beat because the scroll does more damage than the weapons in their tier.

I too am guilty of having low AP with my pets. I am not boosting with tomes right now so that is part of it. I try to make sure at least Verdugo has read all books that are worth less than 200k. I think next month when I have to make my summer goals I am just going to be getting everyone's intel up.

I will take it slow when I get back to golfing. The problem is that I'm ready now, but my DPT said I should wait at least 4 more weeks and my surgeon said I should wait about 12 more weeks :( I do teach college mathematics. Right now I'm teaching college algebra, trig, and stats, but calculus is my favorite subject to teach!

Hmm just 17 days to go before I can start doing BQs again. Pretty exciting. Hopefully I can get my battle brat as close to 400 stats by then, if not it's no big deal. He will eventually make it there in due time.

It's not hopeless against her, but it takes a lot of tries to get that lucky match where I don't get chain frozen.

Yeah, but it only helps for the second round. It takes me so long to whittle through her health that eventually I end up without any anti-freeze blessing and then she gets me before one procs.

Right she's got quite a lot of health. What are you using against her if you don't mind sharing?

Last time I beat her it was the helmet, Sierrac Basal Ice Flail, Paintbrush Blades, Phoenix Quill, Reviver if the lion, Recycle Blaster, Soma Tablets, Shinwas Temple Shard. This time I swapped the Flail for Malignant Rift Staff. Freeze/block first turn so I don't get crit to death right away, blast, then stab at her from hell's heart until one of us dies.

I don't feel bad at all about my current group of battlers. My response is a bit of impatientness as I would like to have more higher stated pets at this point. However, I lack the funds right now, so I have no choice but to slow grind. XD

Next time try your shiny new Swash (with PBB) and make the most of its 4 mod slots and let me know how it goes for you :P

Might be a good idea since it seems like healing/blessings/damage are outweighing ice block for me.

Is this your second battle pet? I thought you had a pet that was around T13 before.

Wind and ice or dark blocking is great against the fairy. The weapons suggested would be your best bet. I would mod two parched on swash and two parched on PBB. That should protect you from her freezing. The other two spots I would mod with 1 singed baguette and 1 crit hit per weapon. The curse damage will help when she uses her tangled curls if you can't blast them. Scrolls that are good against her are cobalt, fatal fire, unstable fairy, typhoon of valor and gift of the forj.

I had several pets but when I left I had given them to friends but I won't take the big pets back. I got a smaller pet back and that is good enough for me.

Ah ok. Yeah I could have sworn you had pets that were further along. I'd feel funny giving my pets away even if I left, but that's just me. I'm sure your friends are having a lot of fun battling with them.

Aw I'm sorry to hear that =( I have some friends I hang out with on the weekends, but a lot of my good friends live far away so I only get to see them once a year now if I'm lucky. Sometimes when my life gets hectic and stressful, I rather talk to my online friends instead of go out with my other friends.

Yeah that's why I am training a bunch of different pets at different tiers.
