Ha ha! I almost fainted when I saw the 50k... I definitely won't be getting there any time soon. Although, the forum giftbox thing has made it a bit more interesting to post in the snowball throwing threads. =) Might be worth doing if ya just feel like tossing some around AND trying to get more boxes.

I'm wondering if it's pure chance or if the more boxes you get, the better the items are. I feel like my first few were junk but now they're... less junk? Still usually about 70k which isn't huge but I'm not gonna toss it! XD

I made a batch of the little snowball cookies but it was a really small batch... it didn't help that I made the cookies a tad too large. Lol, either way, I seriously ate them all in like 2 days. So this time I made a double batch and will make sure roll them smaller. ;D We had to make a 2nd batch of cut outs as well, cause my kiddo's SHARK ones came in! :D

I loved meeting and playing with my new nephew... he is so sweet and despite his first tooth coming in, was mostly smiles... well, drooly smiles. >.< It was nice seeing my grandparents too, they are pretty up there in age so imagine I probably have only once or twice more before they are gone. Seeing hubby's sisters was pretty nice, we went to Dave and Busters during the break between the wedding ceremony and the reception. :P So lots of nice stuff during each leg of the trip... :D

Aw, that sounds like you had lots of fun times. Drooly kids are always great, especially when they can go back to the parents for un-drooling cleaning. ;)

I am on weekend, Today - working with a fever again my boss told me I can have sunday off, so I have three free days.

I have enough working hours. happy

and better have three days off and then be sort of healty enough to stand through the christmas work

He hasn't worked on it at all this week, so I may have to ask him if he would consider working on it for a bit after work each day, since Christmas is next weekend. Also means I need to hunker down next week to get his gifts done.

Some shops here still have cards left on the shelves, so if I don't have enough I can easily buy more. Really need to get started on them, maybe when my husband leaves to go watch Rogue One tonight, as long as I actually stick to that plan and don't play video games.

There are some really great patterns among them. I plan to make a wedding ring quilt with the feed sack fabric that I have (both the pattern and fabric were my grandmother's). My grandmother passed away before my wedding, so I want to make a quilt that she might have made as a wedding gift. I've only got a few of the vintage shirts, most of them had become beds and food for mice, so they were too stained to be salvageable. The little shirts might make for good decorations in a children's bedroom. That sounds like a neat book!

Sewing skills are very important! I have a small pile of clothes that I need to fix (some are jeans and I don't have the right needle for my machine at the moment). I had a Family and Consumer Sciences class for a year in high school, its similar to Home Ec, but we only had one unit focusing on cooking, the rest of the year was spent on setting and achieving goals and some money related things. A sewing video game might get kids interested in sewing, I've got a cross-stitch game that I play a lot when I don't have my supplies with me. But I also think it takes the right person to get younger people interested in something. I rarely see sewing machines for children in shops now, if I do they are in the toy section of chain stores or in hobby shops.

In the RV park, I think there are certain Nintendo Amiibo characters from other games that you can invite in for special furniture and other items. I'm not sure which ones, but I'm sure there is a list online somewhere. I've played one of the mini games, it's fun yet frustrating at the same time as it is a match three type game. Oh no! Hopefully she gets her own copy for Christmas!

I got most of my Miss Marple books from thrift shops. I might have one or two Poirot books, but it's been a while since I've seen most of the books that I own. If I do have some, I'll have to read them sometime.

well that was harder then I expected XD I am almost done with gifting or let's say I just put my hand made comissions (for my friends) under their trees.

Which was the last round I waned to do. I'll still keep on gifting, but this round was actually the one I was looking to, most!

So now - I'll just can be calm and happy and hope people will be happy with their tree gifts

Thanks for the wardrobe update. But the link to get to/try the new version is gone so I don't know how to get to it now. Sure hope all the drawers transfer over and there is an option to delete/edit/add drawers because there's 1 I need to delete. And the "remove items" list is added to take items out of the wardrobe and also put them in drawers. Opened 1/2 my gift boxes and so far nothing but junk. :( Bam! You fling the snowball at starlesswinter and it hits them.. hard! Oh and I hope you're feeling better soon. :)
