- a foot of snow is definitely in the category of a big snow. Especially when you start getting big drifts or when it is added to snow that's already on the ground.

What kind of dog do you have?

My last dogs (both sadly gone for a while now) were an Alaskan Malamute and a German Shepherd. The Malamute just loved snow and would go out and run around and have a ball, but my Shepherd had fairly short hair and would want to come back inside quickly because she was cold.

She's a mix, but mostly rat terrier. A littler dog that gets cold easily, so not really meant for snowy weather.

Even in the house she's been a bit chilly, I had to bring out her other blanket that I have for her that's a bit thicker.

Awe poor doggy :( I bet that was no fun at all for her.

- yes, dogs without enough fur (and especially undercoat) can get cold easily. (You should share that lovely fleece you're wearing with her. :-) ) That was my shepherd's problem. Some German Shepherds have much thicker coats and like the snow (but still not as much as my malamute ... of course he was totally designed for it. :-) )

Well I'm having fun throwing snowballs at people with the shield so they reflect back and go on my HA. But only 13K/50K, ugh this will take years to get that achievement.

Site seems to be behaving better today, but you never can tell! Any help will be great, the lag will not get us down. :)

We have the threat of 20cm of snow overnight - I have work tomorrow, then have to travel - this will be a challenging snow day!

Is there something wrong with the wardrobe? I tried to change my HA and put some winter backdrops on but every time I move one up or down it adds another copy of the arctic trail prints BG so I ended up with like 10 of them on the list. Grrr. Haven't checked the forums to see if this is being worked on or not. Was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or has heard anything. It also keeps adding multiples of 1 of the dresses as well every time I move anything. What the...?

Not sure :( I haven't checked the wardrobe in a while. Hopefully it is fixed by now.

Well it seems to be OK now. I tried moving a couple things around and didn't get multiple copies of the BG or dress. But haven't had time to play with it much. Hope it stays fixed.

I hope so too fingers crossed I am thinking about changing my HA again soon!

I've given up on the snowballs and am trying for the fairies. - We got 3 inches of snow on Saturday, which is unheard of here. I'm not wearing the shield because I like the snowballs. Especially the Icy Snowball. I keep throwing them at people who I know have the shield on so it reflects and shows back up on my HA. It's called Snowball Reflecting Shield. Let me know if you get one and wear it so I can throw reflected snowballs at you too. ;)

OH MY GOSH... we just went almost 48 hours without internet, lol XD dramatic voice It was awful! =p

Actually, it kinda was cause I had procrastinated on my schoolwork and then couldn't do it so I had to cram it all in today. I did do Melody and Bathhouse from my phone though... priorities, ya know? But it worked out cause I'm also battling with a head cold so it was a good excuse to hide in bed a bit extra.

As for why I got sick and left the Rogue One movie, I am not totally sure. Thinking back on it, I probably did feel trapped and overcrowded cause we were in the middle of the row. But at the time, I didn't realize it. I just felt physically ill all of a sudden. o_o It was extra weird cause I made a joke at first, when the previews ended like, "Well, I'm outta here," and then WHAM... I really did end up leaving. XD That's so cute your daughter enjoyed her Chicken Little experience! My kiddo was surprisingly good with his first movie as well, but he was definitely ready to leave by the end, lol.

A holiday-specific wishlist sounds good, too! But yea, I think dividing it down and having a "most wanted" list sounds the smartest. =) I just found that I have a bouquet list from Vesnali... lol. I did split my other list into affordable and ...not affordable, so hopefully that helps.

I actually didn't know there were snowball deflectors! That's kinda cool... but I am one that doesn't mind being hit with them so I guess I wouldn't wear them. XD Are they very expensive or rare or anything?

Oh man! That snow pic of your backyard is hilarious. I love the "Palm tree for emphasis" lol. That's so cute that it's just enough to be exciting like that! =) We usually get a little snow where I am but it's typically not until Jan or Feb. I don't miss the big snows of Buffalo, though, that's for sure. XD

Yeah I am not good with crowds, Which is why I am deff waiting at least 3 weeks to see the new SW movie lol. Hopefully most people will have seen it by then!

Yeah it didn't last long, but it was fun while it did! Just long enough for people to enjoy it for a few hours or so, not bad enough to cause major problems with driving and all (since we don't really have snow plows or anything, so we're not as equipped to handle it as places where it does snow every winter).

It's still supposed to be cold for a while too, not as cold I think. But who knows, maybe it will snow again at some point later in the season?

The shield is selling for about 4 1/2 million right now. I just wish there was an opposite of the reflecting shield, something we could use or wear that would keep the snowball on our HA longer than a minute. Getting tired of throwing snowballs at reflectors to have it on my HA.
