I doubt I could get to 100 wins lol. I only have one battle pet, so I wouldn't be getting mutliples of anything anyway. Nothing really sells anyway :(

I will just be happy to get the ones I missed. In the past I didn't bother buying them if I knew I couldn't beat them. I kinda wished I had bought them anyway.

- not completely sure. I know there are scroll fragments and later drops of things like Negating Pylonics and Pyscho Smasher Scrolls. I'm behind at least 40 pages in the Battle Chat thread where all the discovery is happening. There seems to be drops up as far as 200 wins in some cases, so some things might not have even been found yet.

Sometimes I compromise on Battle Quests and just do the ones I can do quickly without thinking. These days that pretty much gets me to Level 20. Then for Levels 21-25 I have to work and for anything after that I have to get lucky, get General Error and be willing to put in the time and effort to beat him (of course, sometimes Level 25 can also be tough, but when I get there I usually get stubborn and finish it).

- with a capped pet, and the right weapons/scrolls/battle techniques, you can equal anything done by the other battlers because you are at the top and as far as you can go. But I know you don't want to put that sort of time and expense in. Just always remember it is an option for you if you ever want to do it for any reason.

And, of course, as I've also mentioned to a few of the battlers who are starting to get battle weary, you can take your time about getting battle wins. The reset is over and the Battle Coliseum will still be there tomorrow ... and next week ... and ... :-)

Yeah, a lot of live plants can be dangerous for cats... lilies being the worst I've read. Most cats wouldn't eat pine needles though... more wanting to play in the tree lol. Tinsel is banned from my place since I know it's a hazard for him & he loves long stringy things to eat... I used to have long hair and he would purposefully eat strands. Of course, it came out the other end but with attached "gifts" that would wind up being an unwanted garland caught in his behind & me chasing him around the house. I now have short hair :P

It'll be a hand-made gift I can afford & hopefully will bring joy to others ;)

Right now Poukie manages to beat lvl 15 inclusive but we have to wait till she's beefed up more to tackle higher. I might try doing a few weaker ones when I'm tired but with my eye issues & reading disability, it can be a real challenge to be on the computer at times.

I was just suggesting that, if you want, you could do the BQs that are easy even when you can't actually even focus on the computer screen. I actually zoom down to 50 percent, turn on PRESELECT and don't even look at anything - just click through it all until Level 20 (or if The Hustler shows up - but even that's not necessary if you don't mind a loss or two). It's fast, and does help accumulate EXP even when I don't want to spend the time (or can't focus on the screen well enough) to battle further. But, of course, you need to do what works well for you. I haven't actually used any of my EXP yet, so it doesn't make much difference to me how quickly I collect it. There's always another day.

For me, last year was my first Luminaire on Subeta since trying to be sociable and making many friends and I was completely overwhelmed. It took way too much time to choose gifts and earn the sP to buy them and send them and ... And as far as receiving, I wound up with so many things I couldn't even start to appreciate any of them properly. And then it took me half of January just to send thank you comments. I have absolutely no idea how you manage your gift lists and have a great deal of admiration for those who can do it without stress. So, especially since this isn't my holiday season at all (and we don't really even have any big gift giving holiday), I'm hoping to not be involved in Luminarie gifting (receiving or sending). I'm asking my friends to leave me off their lists and not to expect anything from me during the holiday season I much prefer to send gifts at other times of the year when they are more of a surprise. Of course, I don't want to spoil anyone else's enjoyment. In real life, I often share holiday activities with friends or even some family members who celebrate. So I will wish everyone well and participate in holiday threads here and there.

I did too at first, but I do like being able to easily see how all of my battle pets have done against a single opponent. It was a huge help while getting ready for the reset.

- just FYI,, checked how long it took to do BQs today. Just taking my time, not clicking fast or paying any attention (and I didn't change anything the one time the Hustler came up so it wouldn't mess up my data), it took less than 7 minutes to finish Levels 1 though 20. Then another 11 minutes (still taking my time but actually changing to the right weapons and otherwise paying attention) to battle from Level 21 through 25 (an easy challenger for me today at that level). And then another 4 minutes to beat General Error at Level 26 (he was actually relatively easy today).

I would probably do Levels 1 - 20 everyday, except then I always feel obliged to try and keep going even when I don't have the time or just don't want to. :-) (I am such a computer geek. - sigh)

Lol yeah, I was expecting the prices to go up as well but they really have skyrocketed. Glad I bought some ahead of time a while ago when they were still low-ish.

I think part of it may be that they announced they'll be opening the CW pawn shop as well during the sale, so that will be a mad scramble as people try to pick up items that may be otherwise hard to find now.

I only have the one battle pet, so at least that is easier lol.

So exciting!!!! I just hope I don't find every copy of my dresses in there lmao! I need to update my WL and make sure I have everything I want on there! That first day is going to be insanity. I try to do something for friends (not just sharkies... although you can join the ping group, I hadn't even started when they originally started). You'll still get something cuz that's just who I am & no need to give something in return, it's given out of love with nothing expected... a true gift ;)

I might try to do a few quick battle quests but when my eyes are a real bother or I'm too tired even a few min annoys me.

I was kidding about seeing my dresses in there. It actually doesn't bother me. I already got my money from them lol. I figure it gives other people a chance to own it for a little while. Not everyone can buy directly from the shops. Not sure how I feel about "private" items though. I just think once you buy something it is yours and the sellers take that chance when they sell an item. Most of the time I just use our chat boards, so I can avoid all the complaining! Oh, I didn't mean you specifically, I figured that was a joke. But I have seen some people before getting upset (and not joking) because certain wearables ended up in the pawn shop or whatever.

I don't even deal with CWs, I'm just not really interested and can't afford them anyway. But I kind of feel the same. As long as the person or people who made the item get paid for it, I don't really see what the big deal is. Maybe it's polite or something to not sell private items to other people, but as far as I know staff doesn't really enforce that. And like you said, once you pay for an item it's yours and the creator doesn't have any control over that anymore.

- I understand how you feel. My point is that soooo many of my friends feel that way - and when they all wind up sending gifts at the same time it's too much. I don't even enjoy anything I receive. Where, at other times, just one of the many items would thrill and delight me for days. And I also love to gift my friends. But trying to do it for dozens of people all at the same time is also not fun for me - it's just too overwhelming to handle.

The things I would most appreciate are messages of friendship and caring. And if anyone feels they MUST add a gift to that, I would prefer they find someone new or with an empty tree and gift to them instead - and then just tell me about it and I can add something as well. In fact, my very favorite thing about last Luminarie was a thread dedicated to finding strangers with empty trees and making sure they were filled.

I very much appreciate all of my wonderful and amazing Subeta friends. I spend much of my days with them and don't know what I would do without them. And I want them to know that each and every day of the year.

- I don't buy CWs (or for that matter, much of anything that happens to be wearable :-) ) but it has been my personal experience that private CWs are usually designed and sold to a special group of people that the owner trusts and with the understanding that those things won't be sold outside of the designated group. I know several items are offered that way for Wayward Squirrel which is a long running roleplay I have participated in a couple of times now. It seems to me that if you make a commitment when you buy to keep something private, then integrity demands that you should honor that commitment and I can see why people might be unhappy if the promise is broken, even if Subeta rules don't have anything to do with the transaction. To me, there are some similarities with weapon lending. If I lend someone my AoN, then they have promised to return it,, but nothing in Subeta rules requires them to do so. I have to trust them.
