There is always room for that :D
Ugh it is going to snow again tomorrow! I finally dug my car out today and now I will have to do it all over again :(
Well, my other half can claim to have been into it 'before it was popular here', but yeah, it's getting more so.
There's the games they play over here at Wembley Stadium and Twickenham and even the BBC has a highlights programme which I think is for the first time. It was on Channel 4 here previously.
Not an expert though!
And we have both types of actual football (egg and circle :p ) for the park when it's summer.
Not a flicker of snow here. But the amount you're getting sounds like there's too much! Where's the nice, thin coating of white that looks festive and does not disrupt us all?
Yeah I remember waking up a 5:30 am for a 6 am game because they were playing in the UK and I was like "why are they playing American football in London???" Because I was cranky as one is at 5:30 am. What team(s) does he like ?
If the fans will come, to London it is! xD
He's always been a fan of Philadelphia Eagles but got very cross at 'bad management decisions' in recent years. Still hanging on, though.
Aah, sports fans!
We record most games because of time differences.
(On the plus side, I can knit and be on Subeta when the games are on!)
I wish I knew! We got slammed big time. I was not expecting it to be so bad. Especially this early in winter.
Yeah, it's not even supposed to be deep midwinter type weather yet!
Just checking latest weather forecast here, it reckons white Xmas is unlikely - too warm. :(
Send us a snow care package!
UGH NOT AN EAGLES FAN. Him and I can never be friends lol.
It's fine, he doesn't do pixel pets. You're quite safe!
xD
I would send you all of the snow if I could :P
preps for large delivery We could try but it would have melted with the slowness of the postal service...
Put on your warmest clothes and craft a snow shark! Or just pretend that's what your car is already and stay in!
Nearly 1am, good night all!
:)
I have been eating out way to much! It was so hot in south Texas this summer I did not want to cook, especially after working all day! I love pizza!
I am still waiting for some Christmas presents to be delivered...sigh. Very slow!
I wish I was that creative lol. Night and sleep well Hun
Pizza is always my go to for when I don't want to cook!
Well, hubby worked on the secret gift and helped his parents put the lights up on their house. I made no progress on my gift, but baked for 7 hours (and did dishes three times). I still need to get started on Christmas cards. Have received three so far, sign that I need to start getting mine mailed.
Thank you. I've read over the written instructions about four times and still can't figure out exactly what I'm supposed to do. I'll look for a video on Youtube sometime this week, if I have the time. That should help me out or the new crochet book that I got this weekend. The yarn from my grandmothers stash that I donated were in hues of brownish-yellow to orangish-red, so not horrible colors, but not something I could easily use in a project. They were older yarns, but not sure how old (they were stuffed in the back of an upstairs closet). I think I have a skein or two of bamboo yarn. I got it due to its softness. I have yet to make anything with it. My problem is I have yarn stockpiled, have ideas of things to make with yarn that I don't have, but haven't a clue what to do with the yarn I've got.
I won the fishing tourney with a shark measuring over 220 inches. I entered a whale shark but he ended up being smaller than the shark. I've already started stockpiling some sharks for the next fishing tourney.
Next year I should be able to watch Christmas specials on TV, if my husband and I stay with my parents while we work on getting things set in motion to build our home. There are a few BBC shows on Netflix, but its mainly the popular ones, like Sherlock for example. I may have to stream Miss Marple from another site.
lol I think you mean he is quite safe from me xD
good morning
yawns We estimate you've spent about 3,010,443,412 on presents this year! muhaha - thank you empty trees!
Now I really so wait a few days before spending more...

UK is grey and rainy, either heat or snow would be a novelty right now.
Best Pizza topping? I vote for 4-cheese or roasted mixed veg. Extra onions.
Argh, you too? I am still waiting for something I ordered on 30 Nov - got 1 email about 'problems', but still no delivery and no further info. grumps
Hope your stuff arrives soon.
Oh, it's like that?
hides other half under an assortment of scatter cushions
Gotta find him first!
xD
Whilst I realise the secret gift is for you, I am weirdly excited to hear it's really happening!
Kudos for 7 hours of baking, that is some serious stamina. But highly productive.
With you on the Xmas cards, I think I will have to pop to the shops tomorrow to pick some up and supplies for the family ones (they get homemade). And I am out Thursday and part of Friday, so running out of days this week.
I love reading knitting and crochet books. Or even sewing ones. It's rare I will completely follow the patterns, but you can just get very inspired from the shapes and stitches.
Ooh, those kind of yarn colours put me in mind of stuff like THIS, a bit of classic retro styling.
It's hard with older, discontinued yarns, making sure you have enough for any project you want to do.
We'll have to have a yarn brainstorming session on here, post pics of the yarn and approximate amount and we'll all go pattern hunting. :p
Good luck with the next tourney. I have FINALLY got AC to update, so now my niece is running round the campsite and hassling Pascal & Harvey. And popping the snowballs with the shovel. Oh, things are simple when you're a kid...
Fingers crossed there's another Agatha Christie special next year too.
I must be honest, I didn't get into the modern Sherlock, I am a confirmed fan of the Jeremy Brett series. And my favourite Miss Marple was Joan Hickson. Just like I pictured the character in my head.
The BBC used to do Ghost stories for Xmas, and they were fun, I must see if any of those are on netflix or failing that DVD.
faints You are a true Santa in the gifting world! Certainly, you deserve a break.
pours more tea
Baby sitting and a work shift coming up, and I have applied for some more jobs as current temp work is hard and not enough money. :( Fingers still crossed.
I am just happy if I find stuff on a list I can tke out of my vault I did not really buy all this XD

You bought some of it! :)
Plus taking the time to sort through the vault and match the items to the person is spending time.
And time is a lovely gift to give too.
true
and as said I love finding stuff I usually do not use. and I've spend a lot of time stalking the subeuatique
on a brighter side - going to a chocolate outlet on thursday. Who cares for shoes if they can have chocolate!
