When I had long hair knots were a royal pain. I had grown it for charity to cut off so it could be made into a wig... so I kept reminding myself it was for a good cause every time I combed the hair. I've had to keep it short for a while now due to the balance issues.

I always heard that herding cats wasn't easy but I discovered it's not so tough if you have kitty treats..... :D I have 4 kitties and treats gets them running to me every time. ;)

It's great you found something that works. Gismo is temperamental... when he wants treats he'll come and do what he can to get my attention. When he's not in the mood no matter what I try he won't cooperate :P I guess I haven't found the right motivation for him.

Indeed, and since the win reset is coming that means you can try something you haven't before and not worry about having a loss. xD Welll, until the next boss fight comes... Between Kiyo a while back and the hydragellos my pet had racked up quite the loss statistic.

It's a mask that I've layered other wearables on top so it looks less like a mask. I also matched the skin colour to help blend everything together ;)

It was a one time thing, I may do it again eventually but it shouldn't be often. It was to help take down halloween stuff and convert it to xmas stuff

Haha, I don't usually worry about my losses since there isn't like a penalty or anything for them. It can be kind of funny to watch the losses rack up though, actually, especially when trying to beat event opponents before they leave.

It took me around 100 losses to get 10 wins against the Gelatin Wizard this year, but it was worth it to get the concoction.

I could use a bit more rest but the next few days I only have like 4 and a half hour shifts so it should be fine thanks for pinging me to that. I forgot to look for that thread when that change happened

So tired tonight! Did a bit of Christmas shopping. Ordered quite a few things online. I like doing that!

I've got /no idea/ what I'm going do with that Plastic Shooting Star Pin wig but its mildly hideous and I love it.

Aw, I spent about that much buying CSC cards yesterday. Trying to hoard some before the sale and prices go up.

Next holiday is Fireside. Not one I care about much except for any new red rreign items I might like. Looking forward to Luminaire. Throwing snowballs ;) and giving presents. Any Sharks on my friends list please remember to keep your wish lists updated. ;)

Fireside is just an okay holiday for me as well, but I still like it. Not as much as some others, but some of the items can be really nice. And of course plenty of new food items.

Looking forward to Luminaire as well though, going to try to finish up the snowball achievements this year.

I don't need any new food items since my gourmand pet has the achievement unless they raise it again. And I doubt there's any way I will complete the snowball achievement this year since I don't have time to buy snowballs & throw them 24/7. I only have 11K out of 50K and that includes the snowball fight year before last. So it will probably take a few years to finish that one unless they come out with a new faster way to buy/throw.

Edit: Anybody else having a problem with the resort. When I go there it only shows 1 pet in the resort but my pets page shows all of them are. Strange. I don't like the new formatting.

Christmas shopping... hum well it's good to get a head start. I try to wait for sales when I can though, oftentimes there's Black Friday in November... Canada took it up a while ago since it was popular in the US. Other times I try to do handmade things. "Boxing Day" oftentimes lasts longer so I can get a few good deals then too.

Tomorrow, I'm going on a "date". I haven't had one in over 10 years. A guy I knew when I was doing my Bac at university kept in touch over the years once in a while. I told him I'd rather just be friends & explained my health issues... well, he's really understanding and still interested. Tough to say no to a guy when he's saying all the right things... so I'm going for brunch tomorrow with him, tee hee. Mixed emotions of what on earth are you thinking? Give yourself a chance. It'll be a challenge to do fancy makeup, what am I going to wear? and more... goodness gracious!

Well we have like a whole 3 months for the snowball stuff, so even just doing a little bit whenever you have time can go pretty far in the long run.
