Quests are frustrating and nearly impossible. I'm out for the night...hoping for better luck tomorrow.
Last night everything ran smoothly for me, but today I can barely access the site! Been getting almost non-stop cloudflare errors pretty much all day today. I can barely access subeta without getting a 502 error. I literally had around 6 of them in a row before I could even get the site to load again.

I am just so irritated that everything is not loading and I can't change my Ha or load anything in the wardrobe. I know it is lame to be so upset, but it's been 24 hours with this mess of problems and I think it should be fixed by now. What is the real issue here, staffing, money, technology? I am highly confused by the problem and why it is persisting.

I really really extremely want:Welp, forums barely work today. Hopefully this can be fixed!
Errors are preferable to never ending loading (same thing really, just one lies to you one doesn't). Pretty unusable :/
I am just so frustrated with all the issues. Copious amount of lag, error after error, blank pages mixed in and down pages... I know you're trying to fix it but I'm at my wit's end. This is making it impossible to get started on luminaire because whenever I start preparing to buy gifts the site goes down. Not to mention all the other problems like loss of gallery categories, broken wardrobe features, broken like system, the forums dying..
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see subeta working well, and hope that time comes soon, but right now... 😒
And sorry if that comes off too strongly or whatever, I'm just annoyed. I love this website a lot and want to play it but the problems won't let me :(
Any word yet on this issue? It may seem small, but it's actively preventing me from selling things on here.
I was just coming to post here :) We just got a hold of the data now, and we're going to write a script to apply it to the current database.
Unfortunately we can't just pop these in because the table has something called an auto_increment, which means that every new row gets an id+1 from the last thing inserted.
When the database moved happened, the table started at 1 again, so anything that you've had in your shop assigned to an ID could be assigned to someone elses category (although it wouldn't show up in their shop because they are assigned to both a shopid and a category).
Long story short we have to write a little script to manage that conflict, and should happen sometime in the day tomorrow. I'll update here (as will most likely) once it happens.

thank you for the updates :)
so glad i haven't redone my gallery categories then xD
Thanks, Keith, for the updates. I personally may have been getting frustrated, but I couldn't imagine what you're feeling! Hope everything's going well, and don't forget to take some "you" time.

When is the unicode characters issue going to be fixed? They still show up as question marks.
Thank you so much for the info! Someone mentioned that I had something they were after but then when they clicked it didn't appear in my gallery and I was like....I need to check on that haha.
Where are they still showing up as question marks? One of the big improvements of this database is much greater support for unicode characters, but we have to undo some of the hacks that we built in for the last one.

In my notepad widget and also shop/gallery names (haven't tried anywhere else yet). Not sure if we're thinking of the same unicode characters? I mean the ones from here...they used to work before, though maybe it's because of the hacks that were built in?
They should work, but you can also use them this way anywhere on the site.
I'll take a look at those two specific places though :)

letters using macrons turn into a ?. A few of my pets have these letters on their profiles and they turn into question marks. Don't know if it will work here but these ā , ō etc.
I haven't tried updating their profiles since the move so I don't know if the profiles will now allow these special characters, but it definitely was an issue before.
