I made the mistake of giving some freeloader several, very decent items. I didn't get ANYTHING in return, not even a crap item with a "Thank you".

If it's okay for people to be like this I have the right to be sour about the ungrateful bas---tards :T

My mysterious melody today is just barely dragging the bottom line of ok. I haven't had a really good one yet. But all the ok ones and all of the bad ones are relly really worth it when you finally find a good one. :)

Sooo these past few days were weird. i send a junk test item to see if the person is active, if a junk item is returned i up the price of the gift. the items go up in price with every positive response. this way i know the person is active and interested. also, neither of us will loose too much sP if the other goes inactive for what ever reason. or that was the idea. the last few days there was either no response or the person stops after one junk item.

Now im not complaining about not receiving items back. if there's no response the most i spend is 300k so it's not too big a deal. plus it's part of the season to give, right? what i would like to say though is it would be great if there were some guidelines for this site feature. not rules, just a page of guidelines for people to not loose out too much sP. kind of like a fraud alert? telling people to send one item to confirm your mm is active, then escalate the gift prices.

Another feature that would be nice is to have a force quit to reselect a partner. one quit a day if your mm is inactive. meaning, you send an item and if you don't get a response after a certain time, you can re-enroll into the mm. it would be frustrating for those who get two inactive mm's in a row, but at least it gives people a second shot at participating in the activity the way it's meant to be enjoyed. to add to that, having the option to quit if your mm wants to stop would be nice too. there would be a button that says something like, "withdraw from mm," and when both participants hit that button each person can reenter the mm for a new partner. this way if one person wants to keep sending gifts to someone, they can have a chance at getting someone else looking for an active partner. there could either be an event that pops up telling the partner when you want to withdraw, or it could be a surprise.

I appreciate that some people enjoy sending themed gifts, but please remember that not everyone knows, has the sP, and/or the time to make nice little packages in return. for example, my themes are to give items that can be used. tokens, vouchers, mkeepsakes, plushies. even things that i think look pretty or can be resold for some sP. so just because you're not receiving a slew of green only, cat themed, seasonal, or wishlist items, doesn't mean people aint tryin.

All of mine exchange once or twice and then they run off on me, I've been using the gift center alot so I hope they got some nice things.

I have horrible luck with MM. Yesterday I sent so many nice edit: please do not reveal mm gifts goodies only to receive junk that would be discarded by anyone, I felt like they were quite literally just cleaning out their inventory of the junk on me...actually was worse than nothing at all because I had to clean out my inventory afterward to even quest. Thanks, you're a freaking jerk. ? Since I have all my achievements associated with MM I don't think I will be participating any longer, really sad the anonymity makes it so easy for people to cheat the system and mistreat people who do the right thing.

And again, a day where I've gotten fairly lucky. Only had one real dud so far, but even they just regifted what I sent them.

All in all, I feel really nice.

Yet again another shoddy MM, sends a junk item and then disappears. Yay. Show me a bit of love, MM, and I have some good items to come your way. Just a little bit of effort on your behalf wouldn't go a miss. :(

my MM today is not very active but they sent some cute themed items so I'm happy anyway. Yesterday was a blast, I wish the lag wasn't so horrible cause it really took the fun out of it, lol, but they were just SUPER!

So far no duds. A couple REALLY awesome people, but all have sent at least 1-2 items. I try my best to start out with a decent item, majority of my stuff is whatever I have hoarded in my vault that I don't want for myself. I've been saving some things for this time of year!

my mm is amazing, but i'm pretty sure we're in completely different timezones. sorry, mm - a girl's gotta sleep sometime!

My MM today started good.... We upgraded the value of items as expected a couple of times and them boom! My MM was gone and I just haven't got a response since last time. (No goodbye, no thank you, no nothing)

Sometimes I wonder if the other person is just too busy in real life, which is perfectly understandable. Sometimes I wonder if they just decided to join out of nowhere to see what they get and give nothing in return. Sometimes I wonder if they are having internet issues, or maybe site issues or mobile issues or computer issues...

Some other times I even wonder if they're getting my stuff because maybe the site did something weird?

I don't like to be judgy because I don't know what's going on on the other side of the screen but all I want is an active MM. I don't need expensive stuff or all your stuff. All I want is some response and a nice message... like a pretty sticker, a pretty food item... so I know you're enjoying our partnership and my gifts and my good intentions.
