figured that is what happened .. no worries :)
awesome, I have to be exact.... well time for the re-write lol!!!!
I'm so glad the wonderland stuff is on your side of the kitchen XD
edit
just grabbed this from the BHH and thought it was approriate!
You purchased:
Miskatat Plushie
I adored this challenge, and am super proud of the things my team is coming up with. :D But this does help because I was feeling a little bit bad for adding parrots to the menu.

: snuggle snuggle I found something I could do that doesn't involve going anywhere near the kitchen, or requires mass quantities of tequila, or scares me to death. I appreciate all the love and funny jokes. hugs Andreas So, I'm good for now. Thanks Love.
: Hairball Incarnate! LOLOLOLOL...cough cough...aaack...aaack...wheeze...ack!...LOL. AAACK!

- yes, exact - I knew you could do it! Congrats on the new plushie from BHH. HeiYu can handle the Wonderland part even if I can't, so we're good.
- ah so that explains the mysterious ping - don't worry, it wasn't a problem, just wondered for a second what was going on.
ewwwwww now the entire board is contaminated with your fur!!!! I'm sending you the cleaning bill lady!
I just wish we had more time, the theme is really inspiring me and I want to make art for each dish :D
: I clean up nicely...
But it's such pretty pure white fur. Ermine, as you know, is royal fur...( giggle )
- I love your art - and it looks like you have art for almost everything done now. Great job!
- you do indeed clean up nicely, but HeiYu is getting tired of brushing fur off of Nightshade :-) .
[edit] This must have been a great post because I got both a Forum Point and a Forum Giftbox - wow! (And then again, maybe my post wasn't quite so great - You opened the gift and find a Antlephore Helmet of Cluelessness! Someone seems to be trying to tell me something, but I'm not sure what. Guess I'm clueless. lol)
Since mine is still the last post, I'll add some OOC information about our Wonderland recipes here.
Attn: judges
In the interests of full disclosure. When I cook (or bake) I find a recipe and follow it exactly, so that's sort of what I did here - the recipes I submitted were all just small modifications of the recipes listed below. I used foodnetwork.com, rather than Joy of Cooking or one of my other collected recipes, but the base recipe would have either been totally unreal or someone else's work no matter what. The Wonderlandish substitutions are mine (or Hamda's in a few cases!), the artwork is all Hamda's and the mage cooking instructions are HeiYu's taken from the recipe book she began studying when the menu was announced (in other words, they are my contribution). In order to make each recipe 12 servings to fit our theme, I changed portion sizes and cooking times, so I make no guarantees that even the non-mage cooking directions will result in anything edible - if you are interested in a recipe, I suggest you use the links below, they all sounded wonderful to me.
Now, some research information, I used to make the Wonderlandish changes:
Fire-Roaster Sirloin of Snark with Borogove and Mimsy Sauce research
For the fire roasted snark, the snark is an imaginary animal (used to refer to someone or something that is difficult to track down), so I am using a Giant Armadillo. Here's a link in case you would like a picture Giant Armadillo
For the Borogove, Following the poem Jabberwocky, Humpty Dumpty says: " 'borogove' is a thin shabby-looking bird with its feathers sticking out all round, something like a live mop." In explanatory book notes Carroll describes it further as "an extinct kind of Parrot. They had no wings, beaks turned up, made their nests under sun-dials and lived on veal." so I am using a Kakapo (and the one reference to kakapo in the non-mage cooking instructions should, of course, have been changed to borogove - my error) Kakapo info and video of Kakapo The extra special presentation with brush marks and diamonds is a creative addition made by Hamda.
Ridiculand Pasta
Just basic pasta with tomato sauce presented in gorgeous Wonderland form by Hamda. The tomatos were changed to Borogoves to match the recipe for roasted snark and also to add a fairy tale creature in respect of the Ridiculand title (I am assuming the word comes from the webcomic by Dutch comic artist Wouter Goudswaard).
Baked Brillig
This just had to be based on baked brie didn't it? :-) Following the poem, Jabberwocky, the character of Humpty Dumpty comments: " 'Brillig' means four o'clock in the afternoon, the time when you begin broiling things for dinner." According to Mischmasch, it is derived from the verb to bryl or broil.
Wondrous Mini-Cupcakes
Cheeecake, chocolate and ganache - what could possibly be more wondrous than that? Answer, the special wondrous filling which was another great contribution from Hamda.
Knock 'Em Dead Coffee
The presentation is an extremely important part of this drink, as it is for the original version. If you are interested in learning more about this tradition you can look here The Spectacle and Tradition of Cafe Brulot Cafe Brulot is also known as Cafe Diabolique or Devil's Coffee. That plus the flaming spectacle seemed to me to fit the recipe title perfectly.
Drink Me Tea Punch
The potion that shrinks Alice is found in the White Rabbit’s house. She is also shrunk by using his fan. Nutmeg is the seed of Myristica fragransthe tree. The red rose wine is another Hamda improvement (aren't teammates fantastic!).

Sorry I'm late with the new stuff. I'm playing catch-up on things since an intestinal flu bug seems to have caught me. Feeling much better now, and will get the scoring up for the first portion soon.
Enjoy the new piece of plot!
Questions and comments welcome.
Glad you're feeling better. :)
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

New assignment in SL
Ah, I know those bugs so well, they are my Achilles' heel, too. Get well soon, sending a bucket full of golden healing stardust! ^-^

Thank you for all the well wishes, dear ones!
Now, what you've been waiting for: Winners and answers!
Nutsy has two kinds of points. The first one is Score Points, which means you participated in the challenges. This doesn't mean you got it right, but you played.
The second type is the bonus. This means you got the answers right and somehow impressed the judges with a portion that was over and above.
Bonuses can be spent on clues with no change in scores at all. Score points can also be spent, but they will be subtracted from your standing total. Spending these is a judgement call, since SCORE POINTS ARE ONLY USED TO BREAK TIES. Winning is based on your team's solution to the mystery.
Now as to those riddles, the answers are: 1) None; 0 and 2) the Shave tells the truth and the Countess stole the tarts.
I got a wonderful rationale for this from Golden Trio, so here it is:
Riders on the Bunbus were fantastically costumed, but these HAs were a huge hit with the judges, who were thrilled by the varied creativity, and the last entry whih they deemed the "perfect Alice cosplay!"
I submitted these without team names attached, and they picked 10 standouts along with the Alice mentioned. However, that gave one team three bonuses, and each team is limited to two (number of our lowest team members,) but I'm still posting all the standouts.
Scoring threads will be up in a few minutes.
