Snow looked at him...she sensed he would listen. She raised her wand and cast a Muffliato Charm ((I put it in bold so NO ONES character can overhear if they walk past, though Snow might be crying or animately upset)) She felt this was wise, especially with all the high tensions.

"Alright..." She takes a calming breath. "Thranduil lost it not because of Paddy, though it was, as I said the final straw, it was because of Magnus. Magnus...even though he had been told a few times and even been given a shortened version, never got his name right. Which was offensive. Thranduil even said he could call him Thrandi if it helped. Then...while he was eating, he kept talking with his mouth full and shoveling food into it. I get we are shortly after a full moon...and he needed the food, but it just came off badly. So Thranduil was already at his polite breaking moment when Paddy walked in. This is why I'm not mad at Thranduil...I get it. Magnus was being nice, he usually is,...but from what Ive honestly observed...it seems like a lot of people baby him. Which is why now so many people "hate" finger quotes "you. I mean...I try to give Magnus the benefit of the doubt that hes young...but you know..I was just abandoned by my "date", not that it was romantic...Today was my first day trying to admit my faerie heritage and be proud of it and no one is babying me...or caring what will happen if I get upset." she breaths.

"Though the nut lady was very very nice. I like her" her eyes brimming with tears. "I mean he yelled at you about names and their importance and he couldn't even get Thranduils right...Thrandi isn't hard...and I know hes a smart kid, he knows his spells and potions...and those are in different languages!" She stopped looking exasperated.

"Look I wasn't looking for and still am not looking for special treatment. I would love to tell Paddy she reminds me of one of my favorite Star Wars characters...or ask if she has special products..but I don't want to seem rude." takes a breath. "and honestly yes...the Slytherin house seems to always be known as the bad guys..even when we try to be decent...so it seems like we just stay to our house or have to be super careful with what we say. I mean the big war was 20 years ago...and I feel like we have to tiptoe about like we were all Nazis from the Muggle wars..."

She sniffed finally feeling some of the negativity leave then chuckled "I think your going to have to buy the next round, paying off all the tabs cut into my Christmas savings. I know it was my choice...but I felt responsible." She eats another taco.

"You know..I don't mind if you call me little wolf especially now that you explained it. Its ok...as long as I don't hear you using it on everyone else as some sort of pickup line." she gave a little smile even though she was still feeling a little hurt.

"Regarding Christmas well..we can at least stay in touch online or by owl...if you'd like...that way you have someone to talk to if you need a break from your family. In the movies thats always the thing people need." she chuckles.

Elizabeth knew she was rather late to the Holiday Visit, but she had needed some time to come up with an appropriate outfit, concerning the rather cold weather. She would have prefered to stay inside, get a place next to a fireplace, but she didn't want to miss the fun at Hogsmeade as well. As she was finally content with her outfit, she was startled a bit by a rustle in the background, but quickly saw that it was only her cat, Vincent, who was looking for a comfortable spot on her bed to sleep. She smiled and stroked his head, then headed out of the dorms.

Her permission to visit Hogsmeade in one pocket, a few coins in the other, she walked down to the village. After adjusting to the weather, she was even somehow content with the cold wind. She hadn't decided yet where to go, so she just walked through the village. She was alone, but that came with the benefit of going wherever she wanted to. Elizabeth had never interacted much with students from other houses, and sometimes she wondered why. She was somewhat shy, yes, but there was more to it. Still, she saw some students enter a warm-looking restaurant called 'Las Palmas', and she decided to follow. She wasn't that hungry, but loved spicy food. Carefully, she eyed the inside of the restaurant as she went in and sighed when she saw nobody of her own house. Elizabeth knew she couldn't just leave after entering since it would seem impolite to the owners and simply stood there, a bit left, looking at the decoration and wondering what she should order. ( )

(OOC: Okay, this is my first attempt at RP-ing outside of my common room, but I've been reading the whole RP and was debating with myself when to join... :'D I've also decided that this would be a great way to finally get to know the students of the other houses as well. c: )

"I like odd." She saw and and extracted herself from his arm. "Thanks."

She headed over to Gaia and Paddy and frowned.

"Eating without me already? Geez, you were gone for only a minute!"

Nik was surprised to hear her cast the spell, and understood this was a very private thing. He listened to Snow talk about her friend, Thranduil, and could easily understand why the half-veela would have been appalled at what he had experienced.

"I know the kid is young, and I tried to take that into account, but he seriously does need to get himself under control and stop feeling so sorry for himself. Why are his manners so terrible..? Does this school actually not care that he behaves that way..? Well, you did say they weren't as strict. By the Gods, if I ate and spoke the way that you said he did, I would have been punished for it, severely, even at his age. " Nik shook his head.

"I understand why you aren't mad at your friend for his choices, and yeah, he did abandon you. That wasn't cool, and I get why you are upset. You don't need all this drama."

He had finished eating ( meaning the food was all gone) and lit a cigarette.

"I get it, we still have all those preconceived notions about us, too...dark evil wizards, probably waiting and drooling for another you-know-who wannabe to rise so we can join him. We have had our share of baddies too. Personally, if people want to be prejudice about you because of your house, screw em, they aren't worth your time anyway." Niks eyes were glittery again, the passion quite evident in them, even if he kept his voice under control.

"Of course I would buy the next round, and all of them, until the end of time, if you would share them with me," and he winked at her. "I'm glad you like 'Little Wolf' because I think it suits you just perfectly, like darling or sweetheart, only not so obvious. ..and you are the only one I would give that name to. I am sure I will need a break from my family, I really would like to visit you...still waiting on that contact info and kiss..." he said, puckering up his lips in an exaggerated kissy face. Then he laughed.

"You feeling up to another walk, or do you want to stay here, or.." he got a wicked look in his eyes " you want to go somewhere private and go for a run...?"

Snow felt much better. "I think honestly Magnus just has a heavy accent...not his fault. They arent always easy to get thru though. Its probably just me..like I said Magnus was nice, offered me food, and admited that he needs a lot of food after the full moons because hes still growing." She pauses wondering how big Magnus was going to get. "But to people who are normally quiet or used to certain behavior or introverted, normal Magnus could seem exaggerated to us." She chuckled thinking about the comics shes read about how introverts view the world vs extroverts.

"Im sure, if I hear from Thranduil again," a little sadness in her eyes. "he will apologize, once he realizes how I might have felt. He said it wasnt me and he overwhelmed."

She looked a little sad the food was gone.

"Ya? you get judged too huh? Durmstrangians..." she laughs at her made up word. "I could see that...I mean...Im ambitious and competitive..I admit that...but I also feel like..who the heck has the time or desire to figure out how to take over the world at this age? Im just trying to take one thing at a time and I always feel like Im behind and frazzled!"

She pushes Nik to try and knock him over while hes puckering. "I dont know what kinda "girls" you had a Durmstrang.." she giggles "but us Hogwartian ladies take a bit more to persuade for a kiss." She smiles.

"I like your be yourself attitude though...I know you, Thranduil, my family are right...be myself..but were teens, we are still finding ourselves in my opinion...and if you come visit me I can show you all the forest areas we have around us. My Omi took great percautions to make sure its safe for me to run around and not get shot by some crazed hunter..."

Her tummy grumbles and she decides she still is craving that fruity garnished drink.

"You think you want to walk back to Las Palmas? Im still a bit snacky, they put out these wonderfully spicy salsas and I would love that fruity garnished drink I didnt get."

Gives a little smile. "and its getting chilly!"

She gets up and does a shiver shake dance.

Nik shrugged. "well, the kid is what he is, you would think he would have worked on trying to be more intelligible. I had the fortune of having a mother who spoke English very well, but Russian is my first language. You don't hear me sounding all 'evil spy like' do you..?"

He looked thoughtful. " I am sure that if he was as much of a friend as you said he was, he will realize that he hurt you and apologize, and I don't see why he wouldn't still correspond with you. As long as he is a FRIEND," he said gently, but stressing the friend, " I have no problems with him..if he apologizes."

Nik laughed " I certainly don't have the desire to take over the world, I just want to do my own thing. That word is perfectly acceptable, no worries."

Nik allowed himself to be pushed over, laughing as he rolled. "ok ok, duly noted that it will take more than lips like mine to get a kiss from you." He sat back up, smiling.

"so, we can go running at your place..? I would like that, I think it would be nice to stretch these legs, and have someone else to run with. I look forward to it."

Nik stood up and helped her gather the trash up and fold the blanket. "yes, it is getting cold, and more spicy food sounds good. We can head back to Las Palmas for your drink and more food, he said, smiling. " I just hope there isn't any more trouble for us there."

Snow chuckled at his evil spy comment. "Alright Boris...your right...as long as people don't assume I'm Natasha! but yes...I accept Magnus is who he is." shrugs.

"Regarding Thranduil, we will see. Hes going to do what he does...I cant control him" she says thoughtful. "I think its funny your jealous of a name...I mean Thranduil did look like a Tolkien elf..." she said playfully the quickly after "I'm teasing..." She gave a little unsure smile.

"Ya..I actually got shot in the leg one day...where we are at, I live in Norway, its still pretty untouched land, I don't know why they shot at me...but after my Omi took care of healing me she and my Dah went out and put up wards." she learned forward and sniffed him. "I don't mean to ask a personal question but...are you a werewolf as well? I have a good nose, but with Paddy, Magnus and then me of course I just thought it was...well me I was smelling or something else." she chuckles.

She looked happy. "Ya? your tummies not going to explode? I hope the rest of the day goes smoothly as well. I was just trying to shop. You know...I bet if we went later and talked to Lydia, the nut girl, and she saw how nice you are, when your not being a creeper...you could get those pistachios...if you really wanted them" She smiled as she helped clean up and began walking with him.

(( the only way that will happen is if he performs a complete Christmas Carol. Singing AND dancing. Also apologizing for being a creeper. LOL))

Nik started walking with Snow, glad to be moving, his butt was kind of frozen. "you would make a lovely Natasha, Snow," he said with a smile, then with a heavy Russian accent he said " then we shall take over the world, hahahahaaa !"

Nik's jaw tightened a bit when he heard her 'friend' looked like a Tolkien elf, but then relaxed. He had abandoned her, he wasn't in the picture, hence not a rival. Nik gave Snow a reassuring smile, but his eyes were still a little hard. It was fine to let her know he was a little jealous, just not crazy jealous.

His eyes widened when she said she had been shot. "did they ever find out who did it, and punish them..?? Are you alright..?" he was shocked that something like that had happened to her. "So, it's completely safe, now, with the wards..?"

Nik closed his eyes as she smelled him, savoring the moment. Then he opened them and looked at her. "No, I am not a were-wolf, I am a wolf animagus. I completed my spell when I was 13, " he said, with a bit of pride. " I was surprised it was a wolf, my favorite animals are felines, but the potion doesn't lie, I have an inner wolf. Back at school, when students successfully complete their transformation, we go to spend time with our animals, to be trained..by living with them, all that sort of thing. I learned a lot about wolf behavior during that week, and I think it's made me a better person because of it."

"oh, my tummy won't explode, its light food. I don't know about the nut lady," Nik looked thoughtful, "she seemed pretty upset with me earlier. But I am sure if you went to get pistachios, she would have them for you."

Snow blushed. "Well I have made my hair black before...I like cosmetic spells when I want a bit of fanciness...and I admit with so much hair it helps..." she looked down. "Not talking to people gave me a lot of time to work on magic.." she looks a bit embarassed. She had noticed his jealousy but continued on.

She looked surprised at his concern. "Oh ya...my Omi healed me right up...it kinda was weird...the pain was quick..like a bite from a bug...a big bug..but Im sure you get it. The wards are in place..its safe. I havent seen anyone sense..and I like to hike and run about and such." She smiled assuredly.

Her brow went up after she had stopped sniffing in his direction. "Nik..your acting like a creeper again..."she chuckles. "Thats cool that you completely the animagus potion! I hear its really difficult...it would be pointless for me..I already am the animal of my inner self. Learning to meld my wolf and humanoid sides was complicated...and learning to respect and accept both sides. I think it sounds cool that you in a sense did like a shaman journey with your animal." She smiles in appreciation of his hard work. Then nudges him. "My other favorite animal are ducks...though it would take a lot for me to really hate any animal!"

"Oh she would think it weird if I went and got pistachios..." she opened her tote so he could see the huge bag of flavored ones. "I went a bit NUTS with my purchases this morning" chuckles at her own Pun.

Nik laughed. " I AM a creeper, Little Wolf," he said.

"yeah, it was a hard thing to do, but the benefits outweighed the discomfort. I always wanted to be able to change my form, to experience the utter freedom of being something that I truly was, not restricted by anyone. " he paused, looking thoughtful. "I guess you are right, I did journey, I never thought of it that way...I discovered a lot about myself while discovering about my wolf self."

Nik laughed heartily when Snow opened her bag and he saw the nuts, and only groaned a little at her pun. It was a good one.

Snow shakes her head. "Why? Why are you a creeper? I mean I know its devotion..but WOW." She chuckled.

Snow listened and smiled. "It is freeing to be able to change your form...its been awhile for me, thats why Im happy to be going home soon. I havent dared change at school yet...I mean I thought about asking the Headmistress if I could have special permission to go into the Forbidden Forest with the GroundsKeeper...but then Id have to stay by him..which isnt really running free..ya know?"

Snow laughed at his groan. "Told you like liked pistachios...and pecans..I got their Holiday Brittle for my Dah, it was sent up already tot he castle, but he loves the stuff...and it helps him find his..happy place. Hes empathetic...you see and my mum and his jobs have them working with non-corporeals a lot. They are aurors...just specialized ones. Im hoping from some neat souviners from their current trip. They are in Japan in Aokigahara Forest! Ive watched a bunch of horror movies on it lately." Her eyes were big and glittered with excitement. "It has such a fascinating history and they believe there are more then just ghosts in there!" Snow realizing she was talking about a very dark place, reigned it in a little. "I mean..a lot of sad things happen there, and Im glad they have people who devote their time to try and talk people out of it. Its just interesting that they chose that place..like people are drawn to it." She looks up a bit guilty. "My dah always tells me stories about their adventures, what he can disclose, and hasnt watered down for my benefit...My mum always gives him the evil eye...like she thinks they will scare me."

She walked up to Las Palmas, took a deep breath and opened the door.

Nik finished his cigarette with a laugh " I can't tell you WHY I am a creeper, mystery is a big part of it. Why DO they do the things they do, no one knows..."

"Just what type of souvenier are you hoping they will bring back..? a bit of bone, a scrap of cloth, some bloody effects..??" Nik tried to look super serious for a moment, but the twinkle in his eyes gave him away, and he started laughing. "I assume you meant something nice and touristy from Japan, " he said with a wink.

"Oh, I love all that dark, creepy occult like stuff...figures, hmmm...?" Nik took a quick look inside before they stepped inside Las Palmas, he did not want any more trouble today.

She listened and shook her head with a smile. "Such a weirdo..."

Snow hadnt thought about that. "Something whimsical, not dark...they do bring back fetters and artifacts from time to time but they are safe and secure in the Minstry in a special room. Which made me kinda sad..as I think of Ed and Lorraine Warrens Museum..and kinda wished we had one too...but I understand." She smiled "I will tell you the story though once I hear it...did you know that their vampires have mouths on the back of their heads?! and I believe are usually female...they lure you in with a pretty geisha like appearence and then their hair can act like tendrils and grab you and pull you in to the mouth...neat huh?" She gives a smile then it shakes realizing that could be..odd to some. "Sorry"

She looked around Las Palmas for the Mistletoe Man. She wondered if they should wait to be seated or seat themselves. (())

She would've liked to have talked to him more about his gardening techniques, but didn't want to keep him from his cooking. She took the orange juice Aquilino brought and took a sip.

"Safe choice indeed. I'll take a water too though, please."

She turned to look at Elizabeth as Gaia called out to her. She waved to the girl and gave her a warm smile. The more, the merrier. Harper always liked meeting new people, and it would take some of the pressure off of herself to talk if there were more people around them.

Nik smiled..he liked being called a weirdo. "That's very fascinating," he said, once she had finished her story, "I think the Warren's are pretty cool too."

Nik saw the man approaching them, and he wasn't quite certain of his intent and...was he wearing mistletoe on his head...? Nik stared at the bobbing mistletoe, a confused look on his face. he heard the man saying something, and snapped out of it. He was getting the impression that they weren't wanted here, especially when he saw the girl sipping her drink narrow her eyes at them. Too bad...they were staying, he wasn't going to be run out by anyone except the owners.

Nik gave the staring girl his own, narrowed eyed look..full of challenge and defiance.

Snow felt uncomfortable. She just wanted to eat some spicy food and enjoy.

"Hi," she said to Aquilino "we actually came to eat...do we just seat ourselves?"

She looked at Nik and gave him a small smile then whispered "remember...nice meal..."
