This will be where we can discuss ideas for what kind of adventures we would like to go on. I would very much enjoy having us back together. I am also open to new members joining the crew.

I would like to have a character limit of 2-3 chars MAXIMUM unless you are doing short writing as an inn keep, bartender, shop keep, etc. Not something that would be staying on the thread for a long time. The reason I would like the limit is because it can get confusing if you can't keep up with all of your personas.

Currently TML is finishing up the celebration of Morostide and the feast of the dead. Fireside will be fast approaching as well. Alaeza does plan on offering the crew the chance to come back aboard the ship because she no longer has things tying her to Meneb.

I will have two characters; Moon of course, and Alex. I feel that Alex didn't get the attention that she deserved and I hope I can develop her more. I won't be doing Brice, I like where he is and feel that I can't develop him anymore, but he can make "guest" appearances.

Frieda and Weldon have grown up quite a bit since we saw them last. I will stick with them, Frieda will be the primary voice. Aya may appear, but I'm not too sure.

What is the status of the ship?

Status of the ship will be coming ;) I have something very interesting planned for it. SO to speak, the ship will be rising from the dead.

Glad you're starting up a fresh thread because it's been so long since I RP'd "Grish" that idk if I want to go back. I'd love to bring in a new character if that's alright with you, ^_^ I don't want to reveal too much of her personality but I definitely know she'll be someone whose moral compass isn't very steady.

Okay so I saw this in the rp forums, and then I saw the group, and there's WS folks and people I know, and I would like to know what exactly the premise is, and maybe a general idea of how it works? I'm certainly interested, especially if Frieda, , , and are aboard. I might even ping a few others, depending. ^.^

: Hi there sweetie. I will give you a brief history of the Midnight Lamp from when I came in:

Alaeza, Danneygyrrl, and Glitter ( at the time Ayakat ) are Jai M'neb royalty from the old realm. During that fateful Masquerade when Professor Yun was murdered by Martinez, Alaeza and her friends were made to feel unwelcome at the Ball and were threatened. Rather then leave the Ball, this intrepid band of friends from many walks of life ( and unlife ) hired out another adjacent ballroom and partied as if the Revolution had just ended. After the Masquerade, Alaeza invited all of her old and new friends to join her on her interplanetary pirate ship, the Midnight Lamp and all were given positions and the ship took flight in search of treasure and plunder.

There was trouble aboard, some were dissatisfied with the quantity of prize money they were earning in their piracy, some were dissatisfied with the leadership and some were just too young to understand the full implications of what was going on and were compelled to mutiny, abandon their former friends and steal ships and gold from the good Captain Alaeza.

The old ship was also more then showing it's age and the Midnight Lamp became stranded in the Arctic and subsequently sank beneath the ice.

Eventually, it was raised, refitted and spent a short time as a luxury liner on the oceans of Subeta, but ultimately, it was retired and has been languishing, overgrown with vegetation, on a large plot of land near Captain Alaeza's manor.

The Forum is an open literary role play, not similar in any way to Wayward Squirrel, except that Glitter, Grishiu and myself are all former Midnight Lamp ers. The goal is to write a group role-play adventure, interact with each other and have fun. Alaeza generally makes the story setting and we all contribute our part.

The only problem I am having is deciding WHO I should join with. I'm partial to wanting to play in Shengui Guo as well, but honestly I'm sure whatever the group decides on will be fun no matter what.

actually gave an amazing description of the history of the thread. Better than I could have done last night! (My brain is still recovering from a cross state drive over the weekend for a baby shower)

I am thinking that Shegui Guo will be the stop the the crew goes on next. We haven't all RPed together in quite sometime because life got hectic for all of us, especially me. Now that life has relaxed though (the child is three now, so mommy gets her time too) I wanted to get back into it.
