If Braintree saved your information, it should say in a cream colored banner below the stripe banner "You have at least one payment method saved in Braintree! If you would like to remove them, please click here." If not, then I am not sure it is saved as far as braintree goes. But if you don't see that banner and you are sure then yes a ticket would be best.
