Yeah, it wasn't until I commented to a mini-mod friend about the widget that he suggested turning off the CSS to see if that helped -- and it fixed things I hadn't realized were even wrong! I'll add it back in after the holidays & mess with it, but for lumi I'm leaving it out. Too busy to deal with it until later. :)

I left the "floating items" CSS -- I only removed a bit that blocked sidebar ads. Why that would also mess with links is beyond me, but it did. I dk how much CSS you have -- I have a few different things -- but the adblocking stuff is what appears to be causing my problems. And from what I have recently learned, adblocks are causing some issues for other users too -- although i'm not sure what all the issues are.

The floating stuff is really the only bit I have running. I do have two adblock extensions on Chrome though. So, maybe that will change stuff. I forget that I can probably disable it on the site anyways, I'm not used to having a GA active anymore. XD

Me either -- that's probably one reason why I needed a friend to suggest the adblock stuff to me....

Yeah -- they rewrote the code so it quits loading pages post by post PLUS now all threads will automatically lock after 5k posts. We are supposed t just start a new thread. Makes sense & will likely be a big help! :)
