yeah, it's surprising, isn't it? Some people accused the documentary maker of cherry picking to suit the propaganda. :C I think it's easier to be biased if you're making a documentary with an opinion. Still a good doc in that it highlights the environmental impact of the meat industry! The thing I most remember from it is it takes 600+ gallons of water to make one hamburger. :X
No problem, hope you like it! :D You can veganize pretty much anything, sometimes I go to google and type in "vegan name of food dish here" just to see what comes up. I've found some awesome recipes that way!
That chilli sounds amazing!! I attend a local vegan potluck every month and I might try that recipe for the next one! Perfect time of year for it if you ask me.
I avoid palm oil too and for the most part it's pretty easy since 98% of what I eat these days is prepared at home. I think the prices on plant based milks (along with veg meats) will drop as they become more mainstream. Demand is on the rise and with that comes more competition. I usually go with the store brand which is already considerably cheaper. :3
