OMG that's one of my favorite books. <3 I haven't read it in years but I used to be on a huge Agatha Christie kick back when I was in middle/high school and it was mainly initiated by that book.

Also, as long as it's a book that has one of those descriptors (adventure, sea witch, etc...) then it counts even if it's not too similar to the plot. ;)

Drawing-Challenge #4
Draw a picture. It can be any medium (computer, paper, pencil, pen, etc...). 
It can be a stick figure or anything. 
It doesn't have to be a masterpiece, you don't have to be an artist to take part in this challenge. 
It does need to be newly drawn. Please add "Team Blake" somewhere in the drawing.
Somehow plot related would be nice, but isn't necessary.
The drawing can be simple, as long as it's yours. 
Have fun with this! :D
Oh yes and [user=Zabrie] will pick 1-2 favorites to receive an additional entry.

Almost forgot about challenge 3! The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis Book One of the Chronicles of Narnia has risky adventures into the unknown (which was pushed onto the main character not by a mysterious map but by a most greedy individual) and the accidental freeing of a certain witch. And just like the plot, just when things were really getting interesting, it ended all too soon, with some treasures and blessing given.

Unfortunately I've still got my books stored at my parent's house so I'm going with what I can remember reading haha.

One of her Tortall series, Tricker's Choice and Trickster's Queen, are set on a couple of islands and again, feature an adventure. Temples/worship of a local deity definitely feature in the books as the protagonist, Aly, is recruited to fulfill a trickster god's plans. I'm a bit fuzzy on the details and I'm cutting it close with this entry, so I don't have time to elaborate more, but if any of you have kids/don't mind reading young adult books, I'd highly recommend this series!

Aww, I want to do a drawing, but I have to pack cus I leave for vacation on saturday and won't have time to do it otherwise tomorrow evening :(

Lol, it was the best I could do. No energy to even try something better. I truly envy those that can draw such beautiful things. :)
