Adventure Challenge

Me and 2 friends, the bus breaks in the middle of the road. We spent 6 hours doing nothing, and we took a pic like this. (That's an adventure,right? :P)

Adventure Challenge (Tuesday)

Several years ago I went with a group of about 120 people to Fiji to do a service project. Before we left, the villagers in the Presidential Village performed a traditional Fijian dance (and singing) for us. This is a picture of the singing - I took a video of the dance rather than pictures. lol

I'd say the last big adventure I went on was packing up all I could in one suitcase, sticking my cat in a carrier, and loading my toddler up in his stroller.... and moving by plane from WA to AZ - including a layover in Sacramento. TSA made me take the cat out to go through security.... and the mesh on the carrier door did not survive the flight.... By some miracle, the toddler and cat were mostly well behaved and unafraid. The cat tried to escape during the flights but I just put something in front of the hole she made and kept a close eye on her. <3 The boy had a breakdown during the layover but it was only an hour.... LOL But we made it here in one piece! :D Now how to get back.... because coming to the desert was a mistake! BAHA

At some points it reminded me of going to Yogi Bear Jellystone Park as a kid.

I didn't take this picture. All of the pictures I have from there are from a film camera, haha.

Adventure Challenge Tuesday

My dad and I hiked all the way down to the bottom and all the way back to the top in one day. The first time my family tried this I was just too little.

Adventure Entry

Road-tripping down and around the East Coast with my friend, we made a random stop off the highway in North Carolina to go horseback riding. It's an adventure because it was completely spontaneous and also because it ended up being like 20 minutes off the highway through some extra-sketchy back country roads and was almost abandoned when we arrived except for this mountain man (very bearded), and we still went through with it. c:

It was quite an adventure going crabbing for the first time and ending up with a pile of them!

I was recently in Toronto for an event based around the AR game Ingress. No one on my team had biked in Toronto before, but we had a lot of fun!

Adventure Challenge

This is not my picture (or a picture of me). My husband and I took a hot air balloon ride for one of our wedding anniversaries. It was a wondeful experience. I chose this particular picture because, when we landed, our balloon basket tipped over and wound up sideways on the ground, so the sideways basket, plus the couple reminded me of our anniversary flight.
