I hope they switch it around next time, so first is the quests, then is the item drives.
Get rid of all that junk the quests gave us lol
bird and bear and hare and fish give my love her fondest wish
I like the item drives, they help with the enconony. I'm always buying cheap items and fraggin them, I can never seem to keep up! I just wish the drives wouldn't break the site. :(
Radiation is finished! Sorry if I get confused sometimes, I just had brain surgery!
Thank you for all the kind thoughts and wishes while I'm in the hospital again!
I'm for more activity which directly match the lore/plot. And I cheer activity's who are not so dependent from time zones, energy from users who struggle with thair healt and night rest and so on. Undue Team Gold lost by the quests I'm still more for doing quests than do an item drive.
I'm much more for activity's who are not so dependent on teams, than doing quests or item drives. I'm the most for for a merge between both teams.
I love Saggi, but the whole competition falls into the water. I'm really sorry for both teams we aren't able to make it more exiting at this moment for team Steel and many of my team struggle with their daily duty's in real life. It's the reality. I wish it was different than it is now. I'm so sorry.
I loved the change to doing quests. I like to feel like I'm actually helping instead of staring at the error or blank pages for hours on end. I like to be able to actually do other site activities instead of hope and pray that I can hit a few minutes of the site being up so I can move items into my shop so I can AP and train my pets. I hate feeling like I'm wasting a day on my GA because I can't play. I was really about to just throw my hands in the air and avoid the site if the third event was another item drive.
Item drives encourage hoarding. Might as well hoard 1000s of every cheap item for instant win, if you can fight the site crashes to donate. Really anything that has to do with using items encourages hoarding between events. Seriously. If other item deleting method is going to make its way into events, say like fragging, I'm going to just hoard the items I usually frag instead. I'd say recycling but I already kind of hoard for that.
I'm hoping this whole trail part is almost over. Quests were a nice change up but now we're back to the same old things. I think a few are bored. Granted I know at this time most US users are either in school or working but wow, I'm used to there constantly being over 1.5k on during events.
edit: forum point for this. Does the site agree it doesn't like crashing? lol

I agree with a lot of the others. I much preferred the questing over the Donation Drives. The biggest thing I think, which has been said a few times, is that I felt like I did all that I could do to help my team and I didn't feel like I needed to spend most of my free time buying and donating items.
However, I do understand the need to get a lot of items out of the economy so I think the donation drive did just that!
I definitely preferred questing to donating. I do all my quests every day anyway, so it was business as usual for me. c; And after I finished all my quests, I hung around in our team thread and helped other players with GAs and figuring out how to do Sarah's quests. So yeah, even after I finished, I was still able to contribute and help the team.
I'm just curious though how some of you guys think team Steele was given an advantage by the timing of the reset? Cause...last I checked, teams weren't determined by time zone. Pretty sure the late reset affected both of us equally. [edit] Must be a lucky thread. Got a forum point :p
I definitely prefer the activity of questing over donation drives (and it seemed to break the site a little less), but I didn't like that there was no way for the more active members of a team to try and make up for non-participating members. My life circumstances mean I'm online a lot, so I try to pull extra weight for my team so people with actual lives don't feel quite as strained. But when the activity is capped like this, I can't do that, and it's frustrating to just sit and watch the gap widen without being able to do anything about it.
Anyway, I'm not going to say it was "unfair" because there was really no way to know that Team Steele would have so many more people working on the goal than we did, but if there's another recruitment it'll have to be something where each individual can do as much work as they can/want to, because otherwise the results will be the same, and that's not fun or even really "competitive".
