Ok, hun! Did you guys file a police report?

We did! Unfortunately, unless it gets pawned, there's really nothing they can do about it. :( It took an officer nearly an hour and a half to even get to us to take our report, so that phone's long gone.

That really sucks. Still, it helps to file a report (slow as police are about it sometimes), so there are statistics about crime in certain areas.

Absolutely. And I'm not really too sore about the wait time (more than anything, it was just because I needed to get home to sleep for work). My cousin's husband is an officer, but unfortunately he was stationed on the opposite side of town. But apparently the majority of officers had been called to a nearby overpass because people were throwing bricks off it. So they were quite busy.

Oh wow, yeah, sounds like a busy night.
