But it stayed the same amount, around five percent, so to pull ahead only to be held back and unable to close the gap again without risking being further set back. Better to be safe than sorry, so please, we need to at least TALK about this as a TEAM before we just do whatever we want. We have to work together and if we don't, we'll lose no matter what.
I'm not saying I'm right or that we shouldn't try it, I'm just saying that there needs to be put more thought into these actions than there currently is.

The 'base' shirt will be gray most likely (unless I can find a blue one?) but I THINK those are the ones I can do the logo on with the right colors...

Oh gosh... I can help on my phone Glad food game is working on Android even though it's buggy
I agree with what others have said. I think we need to go with any advantage as soon as we can. And there's no telling how many times it can be used - I suspect multiple times as long as you can keep your food stores up.
We've already had numerous people click it so far, and hopefully it won't be much longer till we hit the third of our members needed so we can see just how much of a boost it really gives. Us running out of food and energy less often hasn't been a huge advantage at the moment, since according to Gold team members they didn't run out of food or energy much either in the last part - perhaps this will be the same, or maybe we'll get lucky and it will be awesome. lol Either way, it's likely Gold has the same option right? Wouldn't make much sense to hold off when it's unlikely they'll be doing that.
ETA: Is anyone else finding that it is taking a long time for food to show up in the hunting game?

I agree. I think getting into the lead early is important ^^
Yeah, if we get a comfortable lead and then decide not to use the speed boost again, that's fine. But I think it wouldn't hurt to at least see what it does. Especially since we have the bonuses (if they are really counting).
If our other team members are using laptops like mine, the popup with the explanation didn't come up until after I had clicked "speed boost." Only a third of the team needs to click "speed boost" for us to actually get the boost, and I have no idea how large the teams actually are.
I'm sure Team Gold is probably also clicking "speed boost" to try and get ahead. Team Steele's food stores deplete more slowly to begin with, and we have a boost from Wesley, so we shouldn't have as much of an issue with the food part. All in all, I don't think waiting is necessarily the best play because if we CAN use the boost more than once and Team Gold uses it as soon as they can, we will fall behind and never catch back up. I'd rather take a risk early on when they're likely to do the same thing rather than wait until later when we may be behind.
I think we should use the speed boost. Try it out while a lot of us are online so we can play the food game.
So since it says this, "If enough members of your team want a speed boost, food and energy will be sacrificed for a one hour boost to speed!" Will we get a prompt when we can decide as a team to use and will the team member ping everyone so that it will be done at the same time?

People have been clicking on it already, so once enough people do it then it will start on its own. I guess someone will ping if we notice that it's been activated, but we can't like prevent it from happening if people vote for it.
I think Laurey is right. Once we cross that 1/3 threshold, I think it will automatically be activated and then we'll get the boost.
That's a good point too, from . Trying it out now, when there are more users on, than waiting later for a boost when there might not be enough people to push the button and play survival.
Really? Huh, I'm using a laptop and I just hovered over the bar and it explained it. In any case, I'm not blaming or condemning anyone choosing to press it, I was just putting forth the idea that perhaps it would benefit us to talk a little bit more about it and see if the majority are in agreement (which seems to be the case and that is perfectly fine) to press the button.
I'm all for finding out if we can press it more than once, how it will effect our team and our standing in the, for lack of a better term, race. I just wanted to make sure that everyone understood that this is still a risk we are taking and to be ready for any ramifications to make up for. That's all I'm saying.
Also, it would be a good idea to press it and see how it affects our energy bar, since you need food stores to go up to increase the energy, and we have our own boost plus an extra from Wesley. That's all I wanted to say :)

: As of now, it seems the general consensus is to try for the speed boost. For future uses, I don't know what the best way of communicating/voting/etc would be... but I definitely know I don't want 100 pings from people asking if we should use it.
Does anyone have an idea of the best way to manage future attempts for the speed boost? Pinging as well, since I know you were wanting more talk/collaboration in decision making. Ideas to make that a reality without crazy amounts of pings?
The site was just laggy when I first noticed the option. Typical event Subeta lol

[edit] Managed about 700 damage per turn.
Thanks maybe I am understanding it wrong because it seems to me that it will not work unless we as a team decide to hit it together.
