It seems clear that the civilizations are connected, but the Omen Islands one has been more influenced by Merana for obvious reasons I suppose.

I wonder how long ago it was that Shinwa banished her there and how it all fits together with the stories of the volcano beast and all of that.

I translated the saheric on the temple and it translates to "Live the life of the sea" I don't know if anyone has done this yet or not. Thought it was interesting.

Guardian Beast - is that possibly the Bhakoru or something more ominous...? And maybe this is the mountain we're on
