It has some sort of defense called Stone Wall and I think that might be why sometimes no damage is dealt to it.

Oh man, peg solitaire, I used to play this all the time. took me two tries, but I rememberd how to do it! Time to fight bossy boss. Gonna try with my lowest tier one for the first one, and then bring out the big guns for the morning I think.

does it help for the team/do I gain more plotpoints if I fight but get 0 damage everytime?

My strategy is Rainbow Vortex (tier 1 and blocks all icons) and Siren Harp (freezes) first turn, then go all out with my weapons while the boss is frozen (I only do about 1000 damage though) and then get another hit in before my pet dies. Working fairly well so far. :)

Except for when I get frozen too...
