I did. Beyond the fact that the sliding puzzles drive me bonkers, that one was indeed especially tedious. I remember feeling like it took me hours. I can't remember if it did, but ahh. Those are so not my thing and take me way long to figure out.

I don't mind the competition, but perhaps a mix between the 2 would've been best? One day of trail shenanigans. Camp could've been a couple of days of tomb puzzles or somesuch. Other trails could've been just plot related dialogue between camps. Heh... yanno.. I think our snow neela made up for coming in dead last. =D

that's what I thought but just because it's been a few years doesn't mean he needs it. He looks fine. Unless they're talking about the users cos it's been a /lot/ longer since there was an HA base update (and I know Keith said he wasn't gonna overhaul those again because it was just such a hassle, but those are the most outdated of all the characters involved)

I remember that this exact sliding puzzle was in a really old video game, and it was named something like 'the hardest puzzle ever' or something, and was just an optional thing if you wanted the best sword or armor in the game or whatever. It took really long, and I was lucky enough to have watched a video of someone solving that puzzle just a week or so prior to that ^^ I mean, I by no means was one of the first to solve it, but at least I wasn't totally lost while solving it.

I appreciate competition during site events, too. Alternating between days on which you travel and days on which you solve puzzles and have some more free time on your hands might be a good idea for the next plot =3 The days where we competed for NPCs were a bit more relaxed, but it was only one day in between, and I still ended up checking how we were doing every couple minutes =/ Also, all the users rushing to put in efford for their team REALLY caused some problems with the site. I do wonder how having two teams around will influence the plot though. We won't have any more races, but Team Gold's bonus was that they find more gold, right? That probably means we'll have another competition, like searching for gold or something. Maybe we just have to bring in a certain amount of gold, and whatever we turn in above that limit is ours or brings extra plot points? The Neela AND the Sheeta looked both really cool (haha!) with their frilly bows ^^

What solution? What puzzle? Sorry but just got home and don't have time to read through 20 pages of posts. Is it on the first page?

I hope we get to keep our keys when all this is over. I kind of have a weird obsession with fancy old keys.

The final temple is unlocked! Go to the adventure page, and when you've gone through all the dialogue, click the front-left door on the temple. If you need the solution to the puzzle in that room, google Professor Layton and the 7 squares.

I do remember that plot having tons of puzzles and challengnes. I loved it in general, and that's why I'm here with Blake now. But I'm so dumb with puzzles that are like that. I am always glad for generous, smart people who help make it easier with clues and solution help if need be, hehe.

I think my favorite part of the plot was the whole decoding. You know, like what we had to do during the Tempest plot. We were given a sentence this cool saheric font, and we had to figure out which symbol was which letter, then write them down. You know what's frustrating? When you already get a hint for the puzzle, yet you don't even understand the hint. I still don't know what this whole '2 and 8 pins' thing was about for today's puzzle _
