I made my own forum group for stashing the extra sP and then going to delete it once I finish Sarah's quests. Probably start with hers first. [edit] Finished up Sarahs and deleted my forum group. Made sure to take out the money first.

Late response, but no we always start out even on the next trail portion. They might pull ahead because of their speed boost, but I think the good weather boost will help us out too.

No worries! I know most of you guys are sleeping at this time. :) That's very good to know! So the amount of lead doesn't matter, it's about who gets there first. That takes some pressure off! Yes, I think the good weather boost will help a lot, hopefully getting us to almost even in terms of boosts (since their speed boost is so much better than our food boost!). Yay for Esther!

It's so nice to come back online to see we're still in the lead~

Yeah, whoever wins first on each leg just gets some bonus points. But each new leg is like a reset, so we start out with (assumingly) equal chances to win that leg. I just put the % that each team wins the legs by in the first post because some people had asked if I could list that, they just wanted to know.

And it definitely shouldn't hurt. Getting more good weather boosts instead of monsoons and such will definitely help us, especially if we can activate our own speed boosts at the same time. And of course Saggi will still be afflicted with poor weather, so there will be chances for us to catch up!

It's definitely looking that way so far. We've got a nearly 20k lead over them right now. I know there are still more people who have to wake up and do quests, but unless they get a lot more members to come online than us, I think we've got this.

Their team may have more members than us, but I think our members are more active and especially more active on these threads where we communicate and plan together.

Exactly! Also looking at the difference in points from yesterday...I think we can use that to kinda predict how today will go.
I'm sure people who are willing to give the challenge a try did the quests both yesterday and today so unless they have a big group of members who will only lend a hand today for some fuckin reason...I think it's safe to say we'll stay in the lead

I think so! This is a very organized group, and everyone seems to be checking in and going by the given advice. That's great teamwork and a huge advantage in and of itself. Thanks for all your hard work organizing this thread and everything else. You rock!

Right! Unless they have more international players (who couldn't do the quests yesterday since we were sleeping), but most of those will have done their quests by now. It's almost 10 p.m. for me here in Korea. So I think we're good. :D

Yeah, but especially with the quests it's a bit tougher than the item drive because you can only do so much to help your team directly. If other members don't do their quests, you can't do more to make up for it. It's working out for us because we have a lot of great hard workers and helpers in our team.

But what I seem to be hearing about the Saggi team is that they have forum groups like us, but they're either not as active or not as organized. They seem to have trouble rallying people together to get stuff done. Especially with their obstacles, they do seem to take longer to complete theirs. Meanwhile, we've got a good system of posting when there are obstacles and a bunch of people rushing to finish it as fast as we can.

Thanks! It's easier to keep things organized for everyone when the group as a whole is willing to listen and agree on things to work stuff out.

The whole thing has really been a group effort, and I'm so proud of this team so far. The way we work together has just been great! <3

And I guess it also comes down to how many people are actually willing to bother with the event and sacrifice sleep for it I guess. International players or not. I feel like this team is really driven and is willing to work hard so it really shows. idk I stayed up till 3am for these damn quests cuz I knew I wouldn't wake up early enough to do them in the morning xD

Exactly! So in this challenge especially we can clearly see the difference in the teamwork/number of active members! Even if they're lager in numbers, it really shows that we have more members who are willing to do work for the team and help each other.
And our organisation is really great, yeah :D The ping system and active teammates making sure to lend a hand as quickly as possible

To me, this makes sense, based on how we picked our teams. The people who were willing to forego money and do more work (adventure!) chose this team. Team Gold will have gotten a lot more members who want money but aren't willing to work for it. I'm so proud I went with my heart and chose team Steele!

Morning, teammates! I didn't get a chance to do any quests last night, because it was impossible on my borrowed tablet and after fiddling with my laptop for 2 hours still couldn't get it to turn on / hold its charge for more than ten minutes.

But now I'm at the office and ready to gooooo! Hoping to get through all but Sarah's before lunch

OK so I got up extra early this morning (OMG it was still dark out!) to make sure I could finish the last set of quests because I'll be at work all day and won't be back until it's long over tonight. Hope everybody on the team can get all of their quests done so we can win this one! :D

Does anyone know what the quest counts were around midnight?

Right now we're in the lead by 20k quests, and I kind want to know how much of that lead was generated from last night, and how much today.
